Not saying much - busy finishing two wee cardi's and need to make two amigurumi meerkats by next week!
Wow, they're mental! You know you have to show us them when you're done, right?

BUT.... I can't get the website to come up (probably loads of other people all trying to do the same thing) and I HATE using the phone, so I'm shaking again now._pale_:eek::(
Do you remember me talking about feeling little? I only had that for a few weeks, to varying degrees, (this time) and I couldn't do anything like that. It was all far too much to handle so I just curled up on the couch or bed and put my head in the sand (which [STRIKE]I'm[/STRIKE]OH is still hoovering up ;)). I don't envy you whatsoever. A taste was more than enough. Like Auntie Axe said, don't bring yourself down by comparing to other people. They say there's always someone worse off than yourself, but that doesn't mean that what you're feeling isn't real or having a real affect.

bz, chuffed you found some shoes. You're well down ticking off the "To Do" List now!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves though eh, I'm UBER fussy about the shoes! And there's still bucket loads to do. OH's finally got the printer working but it needs a colour cartridge, which I looked for in Asda last night and they didn't have any for that model (I'm sure in tech world it's positively ancient!) so his response was to buy an all singing all dancing new printer with included cartridges  I managed to restrain him, this time, but I'm not sure how long i'll manage that for...I really need to print the invites!!

BZ, the dress is lovely. What colour detail are you having or are you having it white?

I never expected glasses but did picture you with curly hair. I know you mentioned your curly hair the other day but I don't think you have before have you?
Thanks :) The detailing will be the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses - that plummy colour :) I found ties online in a similar colour yesterday (as OH has made no effort so far to look for suits, ties, shoes, anything like that ) and they were £57 each!! Extortion or what??

I think I've mentioned both curly hair (but I also straighten it) and the glasses at various points, but with the last board we've been going for a while now....how long do we reckon ladies? Can't've been before September cos I got engaged in August and you all would've definitely known about it!

Suep I hope you manage to sort something out. Have you tried checking the internet for chain vegan places with store locators? Or maybe there's a vegan society webpage with a similar sort of tool? Failing that, is it not possible for DD and DH to collaborate to make you a nice meal at home? Or order in?
Try not to worry about it all too much. Things that require extra hassle always feel more daunting when your emotional energy is being spent elsewhere. :o

And incase you don't get on tomorrow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

S/e where are you hiding atm? Hope you're ok..?

Well, I never did manage to connect to the O2 website, but my email seems to now be working; I suspect they tweaked something that sorted out what the earlier tweak had messed up. *Breathes sigh of relief at not having to ring them*.

Owwww, Saffie, poor you. I'm sure he didn't mean it, but that doesn't help with the pain, does it?

I'd tell you to take it easy til you feel better, but you know that already, right?:o

Nice spot of maths there LW! :rotfl:How is it that I'm 26 and it works out that I'm oder than you though?? :rotfl:

:jYay! That you don't have to ring them!

I've just ordered my Wii!!:T I keep getting told how good they are for getting/keeping you fit and as I don't get out much... I wanna try and shift these bingo wings before la wedding (of the century ;))
I went through Quidco and ordered it from Additions Direct, used the first order voucher code (which knocks £30 off :T) but the blummin code didn't work. So I rang them and she over rode it but I had to do it on the phone then. For which he tried to charge me £199 for the Wii instead of the £179 online (how does that even work?! That's scandalous!!). All sorted now and should arrive on Monday :T but without the extra moolah from Quidco (which I've never used so I was curious as to how it would progress...? Ah well I'll have to remain curious! :p)
I was spurred on to actually finally order it by the fact that I spotted the Wii Play (for those not in the know it's a game that includes a free extra remote/controller - only one comes with the actual Wii, no good for playing with a friend ) for £29 in Asda last night (usually £35-40) so just had to, obviously ;) Plus OH counted up all our spare change and found £100 this week! Yay! :j Plus dad, for some unknown reason (I think he was trying to get me to do a marathon shopping trip with mother - yeah, cos I do those nowadays?) gave me 100 squid on Friday. Woooo!! Signed sealed delivered and played for ;)

Ah, gutted! I have been back and forth so many times wondering about getting one and couldn't dither about it any more!! So it's done now :D

Just rung up De Beers to see how much it would be to get a wedding band made for my engagement ring (which is from De Beers if you haven't caught up yet ;) ...I can even show you the link to my pride and joy if you're interested? :o) and he said he needed to request a quote from HO but he imagines it would be around £1000!!! I'm not having that! It's only metal!! No diamonds! I'll see what real price he comes back with next week, but I had an independant jeweller a while back tell me it would probably be about £400 to do it, so I was expecting closer to there. Sheesh! Gave myself a heart attack there!
