Suep thanks. It is difficult but I can imagine it's more difficult for you with it being your dad. Didn't you say that his tumour had shrunk last week or have I drifted off to a parallel dimension? I can understand his sentiments re selling up for treatment :o Stay strong guys and have fun with wee g/d. :)

Yeah your right, he had the 1st course of chemo, then had a scan and it showed its shrunk but not quite enough for the op, it's borderline though so he's got a good chance of this 2nd course working (fingers crossed)
Thanks BZ,it's lovely to have good friends who care, theres nothing else I can say about it at the moment, Im a bit choked up tonight because of dad and other stuff thats going on here so Im a bit brain dead. I'll explain in a seperate post when Ive caught up.

Oh no cwta what a thing to happen, have you got house insurance ? if so would it be covered ? thats not going to help you now I know. I hope you found something for your tea tonight and are feeling a bit better by now.

LW I hope your feeling better soon too hun.

As I said to BZ I'm feeling a bit emotional tonight, partly because Im shattered after having g/d for the afternoon although I love having her, and partly because of dad , but also because its my birthday on Saturday ( wasnt going to tell you that ) but dh and dd keep on about me and him going out for a meal, Ive recently become a vegan and theres no vegan restaurants locally, also I just dont function after about 5 oclock anyway and the thought of getting dressed up to go out terrifies me. We didnt do anything for his birthday so I cant see what the problem is, dd even said I should go back to being a veggie for 1 night so we can go out
Sorry to winge again guys I think I better go to bed , maybe I'll be able to cope better in the morning.

Hi all, just checkin' in. Not been feeling well today - dizzy spells whenever I tried to sit up - so didn't come online til now.

Have read posts but not feeling up to replying really, brain a bit woozy still.

Anyway, just wanted to say I hope all the things that've been going wrong for people start going right, and I'll (hopefully) be back to normal (ish) tomorrow.

    'Night.

After effects of the full moon was it? ;):D Hey, not long till Ostara and soon it will be Beltane (my favourite) :T:T:T.

    Take care ;)

Haven't used it for a couple of days so only noticed when went to get chicken out for tea.
Am now too fed up to even think about any other food. Am having one of those times where being me sucks.

Sympathy and hugs - I hate it when that happens, I hope it is fixable.

Not saying much - busy finishing two wee cardi's and need to make two amigurumi meerkats http://wists.com/fluffybaka/ab7771b2945a04f9b6370fac05d940d0 by next week! As usual arthritis in my fingers is giving me hell, but knitting and crocheting help keep them mobile. :o

lol No, I know what the problem is - it's a combination of the time of the month - or in my case time of the anything-between-10-days-and-3-and-a-half-months - combined with the post-event jitters I always get after social occasions.

Fun this morning - my email's playing silly baa-lambs. Mr LW's phoned them, and apparently they've "improved" something. Said I have to go to their website and do something or other with my password, and if that doesn't work, I have to ring them and answer Mr LW's security question (which he's told me) and take it from there.

BUT.... I can't get the website to come up (probably loads of other people all trying to do the same thing) and I HATE using the phone, so I'm shaking again now._pale_:eek::(

I know it's absolutely nothing compared to what some of you guys are enduring just now, but it's enough to turn me into a gibbering wreck.

Now don't do that! What you are suffering is real and happening to you so it isn't minimised by comparing it something happening to someone else.

  • raeh hope ickle lad is doing better and that you don't catch it or wear yourself out keeping him entertained.

bz, chuffed you found some shoes. You're well down ticking off the "To Do" List now!

suep, cuddles to you and yours. Totally agree with raeh that money just shouldn't come into the equation. If you get to that point in time, I don't know if it would be worth looking into treatment abroad paid for by the NHS? I have heard that it can bring costs down to a point where the are prepared to pay.

kass, unity, LW and all others I've missed. My brain has tired itself out already and I've lost the plot! 'ugs to you.

Sharon, always in my thoughts. Gentle cuddles.

Hi all!!!! I'm here raeh :hello:

BZ, the dress is lovely. What colour detail are you having or are you having it white?

I never expected glasses but did picture you with curly hair. I know you mentioned your curly hair the other day but I don't think you have before have you?

I have Raeh at mid to late thirties, slim build and mid length hair (about to the jaw or shoulder) CwtA, I have at early forties medium build. LW, I have at late forties to early fifties, quite ecclectic with a really open mind. Suep, I think is about the same age as CwtA and Unity is a little over LW's age.

Hello!........hello!.......have you all stopped talking to me now????? :o

Unity, I'm really looking forward to Beltane. I've told the kids we can go to the festival at Thornbury Henge. We've never been camping before so I'm bound to make it a disaster! We're gonna make some masks to take with us so it should be fun. The camping is free too so that's a bonus! :D

Talking about what we can guess about each other, how about this.......we were out on deck having a fag when this lad we got talking to said we were sisters and we came from Irish heritage. He said I had a lot of different jobs but the one I liked best was bar work and that my sister did something office based. It was really weird. He was a private investigator but I just found it amazing how many clues he could take from someone and turn it into real info. It just show's you how some of those phony psychics do it. Thing is, there are people that have known me for years that would swear we weren't sisters. We don't look alike, act alike or speak alike. Even our hair, build and height is totally different

Tell ya what kids, I'm absolutely pooped! Been feeling like this all week. Went into the market on Wednesday to get myself some Malachite as I've had vertigo since last Sunday. Forgot to cleanse it and it really sent my temper flying. The whole house was in uproar and we were all really arguing. It got to the point where me and my eldest had a fight. She threw me up against the door and I couldn't move my arm until this morning. I couldn't get dressed or anything yesterday. It was awful

I came on yesterday (I think ;) ) but my eyes just started to droop and I couldn't do anything. I'm a little woozy again now so I shall part company with you all for now and hopefully see you all later.
