careful have you had the flu? i hope aside from the residual weakness and tiredness it leaves your mostly over it now. not nice at all. btw i get my grocery shopping up to the minimum spend by adding cat food to it, in bulk if necessary. (actually i think the bulk comes when im aiming for 100quid to get free delivery, min spend is 25 quid but then delivery is about 5, thats sainsburys online).
bz is it the dress you showed us in january or has there been another one? yay for it being ordered nowwhats left to sort for the wedding?
have i missed anything else major with anyone?
wish the weather would make up its mind today, its lovely and sunny one minute then pouring the next here.0 -
hello all
auntie axe i hope it isnt a full blown chest infectiontake care of yourself xx i dont think theres a minimum spend for shopping online? i have to say i know its easier, but i dont like doing it as i like to 'see' what im buying as it means i can picture meals more easily
sue glad you could get out and treat yourself
s/e im sorry you are feeling roughi hope you manage to rest up and feel better soon. You can keep your frog spawn btw
dh has been grumbling to himself wandering about with nets and pegs to cover his pond again lol as there are a few hopping about and apparently they managed to get under the net!! no frogspwn here yet but im sure it wont be long
pcl our weather has been snow here then hail and rain and then bright sunshine ... total madness
bz well done on ordering your dressi really liked that one
welcome to the group tigersueits a nice supportive place whatever problems we have
elliot good luck with the counsellor and nurse, they may have more time to listen to you?? i know you were probably wanting the blood tests to tell you something but at least they didnt show anything worryingbelieve me thats worse.
ok brains gone mushy now, i have electric shock pains going up and down my arms to my neck and i think its from standing ironing the uniforms and PE kits this morning  must teach the boys to iron and maybe bribe with extra pocket money, i havent even contemplated doing the rest of the weeks ironing. Lamb needs taking out of the oven and yorky puds in and then i can sit and do nothing for the rest of the daykids can wash up
hope you all get a nice restful day xx2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000
Thank you to everyone who posts comps xxx0 -
raeh, ironing is hard work and you actually use a lot of muscles without realising it. Have a sit and take a load off.
pcl Good idea about adding cat food to bulk up purchase for online shopping. I don't think I've had flu as such, just a really nasty cold with associated temperature and aches and pains. Has left me with legs like spaghetti but am now slowly improving and am going to take my time over it so it doesn't linger.
s/e, I'm afraid the frog spawn is leaving me cold. Is there a primary school with a pond locally who would like it for the kiddlies?
I got my seed potatos delivered yesterday (am gonna grow them in a compost bin) but I think it may be a while before I feel up tyo actually planting them. I mean the washing up has only been done twice in the last 10 days!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Elliot there is a Fibro clinic in London , you can either go private or ask your gp to refer you (if he will) you can find out more info on fibro on
www.fibroaction.org I also found this site useful when I was first dx

I just had to share this after the Impossible Pie!
5 Minute Chocolate CakeIngredients
4 tablespoons cake flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extractInstructions
Add dry ingredients to a coffee mug, and mix well
Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. (this can serve 2)I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Mmm that chocolate cake sounds tasty CWTA!
Thanks for the interest re the wedding and/or dress guys. It is indeed the one I showed you pics of a wee while ago...The next thing is really the invites, which need to be done like yesterday. I really wanted to have them out by now tbh, but ah well...:o What can you do when you've moved house and tinkered with your meds, eh?
Then after them it'll be the Order of Services (again handmade), once we've settled on what songs to have playing during the signing of the register. I'm not even gonna think past that cos it's too scary!!
I feel a bit rubbish tonight. Ditching the pregabalin for a bit seems to have encouraged my IBS to come back out to playIt was a nightmare on friday when was trying to sort out the wedding dress and with the parentals, who were not particularly understanding  Slept in a bit late (well later than hoped) this morning and OH was a bit crotchety as we were supposed to do food shopping and wardrobe shopping today. The lack of wardrobes seems to be getting a tad annoying as time goes on, funnily enough. Didn't really manage either but he did troll me round B&Q in a wheelchair to look what they had. Guess we'll have to go food shopping tomorrow night. I made a pasta bake tonight but it was a cheese and bacon sauce, and cheese sauces never really float my boat. They make me think of sick for some reason
and funnily enough, I now feel sick as a dog!
Nice to see you back PCL. Were you around for the unveiling of bridesmaid dresses?
Glad to see you're feeling a bit better CWTA.
Glad you had a nice shopping whizz round Suep. OH keeps asking why I don't try a shops own scooter when I go food shopping with him, then he can push a big trolley, but for some reason that's an entirely different hurdle than the pride stopping me asking for a wheelchair...?
Elliot if you don't think your symptoms are getting the proper response then I think you should definitely consider transferring to a different doctor. I know that it's a complete faff but it can really make or break you in terms of how you deal with any conditions you might have. Give it some serious thought?
Forgotten anything else that I might've wanted to comment on so I'll go surf for some wardrobes for a bit methinks..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
