Hi Sue, I hope you got my long e-mail :o in reply to yours, if not, let me know and I'll re-send it.

Welcome Elliot, my my, but your doc must be a highly qualified physician! He doesn't believe in Fibromyalgia eh? Well the World Health Organisation recognises it so I take it he's better qualified than all the specialists on there then? Oh how these sanctimonious ill-informed t*ats get right up my nose!:mad::mad: What is he, a bluddy witchdoctor? Sorry for the rant, but I hate ignorance and he's certainly suffering from this affliction - send him round to me, I'll cure him ;):D.

BZ can you e-mail me your wedding site? I may have seen it before back in the days of "Fibromyalgia part 1" but you know what my memory is like :D.

CWTA That sounds like my type of wedding:T. DD is not keen on the 'desert island' idea as she says her friends would more than likely turn up and stay for a fortnight, which is just what you want for your honeymoon - not:eek:.

Raeh I'm going to check with a solicitor next week as the more I think about it, the more vexed I get at him being treated (or should I say mistreated) just because of the shirt he was wearing. If it had been the colour of his skin we could have claimed racism - but no - it was the colour of his shirt . The trouble is he has some good friends at uni who are Newcastle supporters and they just engage in good natured rivalry. As a family we have always been above this sort of tribalism - although DH's family used to sit in different rooms at Christmas since half were Mackems and the other half were Mags :rotfl:.

I hope everyone has a good weekend - I'm off to polish the couple of spoons I have left ;)

    afternoon all :)

unity good for you seeing a solicitor :) you are right that if it was a racial incident people would be disgusted and doing all they could so treat it as that!! In sheffield we have the 2 teams and theres often good natured bickering between dh and his mates and also at work but never to the point of your sons treatment.

lovely weather here today so i have lines full of washing including bedding, it was easy to take off wont be so easy to put back but i did it today so dh can do it ;)
iv had a really good tidy round so the house looks nice and now im waiting for dh to take me to but a female siamese fighting fish to go with our male ;) i dont feel up to driving as i take more painkillers at weekends :p

i hope everyone is feeling ok and has a little sunshine where you are :)

  • I meant to post better, but got distracted. It's a fighting fish. I can't fight if it's on its own!
I used to have an aqur ... ackwa .... fish tank many years ago with Orfe and such like. I've just been offered one of those globe type ones, but I'm not sure. They are lovely things to look at and bet the cat would enjoy it

I started feeling a bit better yesterday so went to replenish fridge. After about 4 steps into the shop, I was exhausted and turned round and came home again. Will have to beg some help from somewhere. Just had thought - I had cancelled house fairy as was feeling too poorly, but could send her out with a shopping list. She's offered before so I know she won't mind.

I think I have learned my lesson about having the flu jab. This is the first year I've missed it in around 6 years and look what's happened.

sharon, been thinking more about if you want to have a weekend away here. Flat is ground floor - no steps, parking right outside and 15 min drive from long flat beach. You can have it all to yourselves as I would schedule a visit to friends. I may be pushing it a bit, but if you think it would do you good I would be delighted.
and if you just wanna say no, that's fine too - and I promnise I would shut up about it! *g*

raeh, if you could send a little sunshine down here for tomorrow I would appreciate it - drizzly day today.

    Hugs to all.

Unity sorry hun, I have replied at last :o I love your advice to Elliot, you are definitly coming with me to my next doctors visit, you can come and stay for the night, it's not that far is it ? ;)

Oh poor Auntie axe I could have got your shopping when I went to Asda this morning, I go round on one of their scooters and dh follows behind with the trolley, it would only be about aan 8 hour round trip to drop it off :D
seriously I hope your house fairy can get your shopping, Im worried about you now.

I think we are all going to have to move near each other, so we can help each other out when one is poorly, it will be a great big Fibro commune :rotfl:
It's ok Ive not been at the gin again, I just have an overactive imagination

No! Don't worry about me. Have food in cupboard and freezer so certainly won't starve, it's just not what I fancy iykwim.

and I think the Fibro commune is a grand idea - so long as gin is allowed. :D
