Sharon you should know by now that you don't need to apologise to us! If you're not feeling up to it but want a giggle then we're quite happy for you to be amused at our expense, eh gals?
S/e I would...but.... my arms are broke. I'm joking, that's a terrible excuse...especially as LW's following round after Kass to make sure she sweeps them up if hers fall off!I tend to get OH's help these days when I do anything as ridiculous as change the sheets
Raeh I've sent you a PM with the wedding websiteIf anyone else is [strike]nosey[/strike] interested I could do the same for you...?
AND as a special treat for you all.... you can see the bridesmaids dresses if you like? (I've blurred my nieces faces for internet security reasons, I'm sure you understand)

Just as I thought.
He doesn't 'believe' in fibromyalgia - he says everyone gets a touch of it in winter and it's just a collective term for random symptoms and he'd rather "find a cause than fob me off."All I have?! A sick note for four weeks for 'tiredness and depressed mood' and a blood test - despite that symptom list up there ^

I don't suppose he gave you any clue as to what the blood test(s) would be looking at, did he?
Do not despair Elliot - at least you have 4 weeks respite and some tests to look forward to.Trust me, once a good doc gets their hands on you, you'll be pleading with 'em to stop the tests.

Portmanteau reply to everyone else.
It was good to see so many of you queueing up to help made my bed for me last night.Actually, shortly after I posted I gave myself a metaphorical kick up the bum and dragged myself upstairs to finish making it. Having done that I just flopped into bed. Had a bluddy awful night's sleep (the usual result to doing too much during the day), but at least I managed to stay in bed 'til around 8.30 this morning. I now feel like utter [rude words removed to protect delicate sensibilities]. Perhaps turning the mattress wasn't such a good idea and I might have to pay my house fairy extra to help me once in a while.
I hope every one is enjoying a long lie in (apart from zippy who's been up since 8.00 am) and that you'll all be along later when you've woken up. [Gawd, my brain is sludgy today.]s/e0 -

In which case your GP will have time to go through them and see if they fit anything. It's not the end of the world that he doesn't 'believe' in fibromyalgia - at least he didn't tell you that your symptoms are all in you mind and if you'd just take a course of anti-depressants all would be well. My personal view is that it's all to easy for a doc to say 'fibromyalgia/ME/CFS' without investigating properly and looking into other causes for the symptoms.

:rotfl: Thank you.
He's basically testing for everything I think - they took four whastits full and I'm to ring back after four to see if they're back - otherwise it'd be monday. I just hope he 'is' reading it as he doesn't usually - though it's the first time he's kept a letter I've written him so it must be positive.
Thank you again!Homer: Don't you worry about Wikipedia. We'll change it when we get home.

Afternoon all.
For those of you intrigued by Impossible Pie, the recipe can be found at:

The one I did is the coconut one.
I'm not so snuffly today, so I think I managed to scare the cold away. (It's amazing what a good malt whisky can do):D
S/e sorry, can't help with your bed; Mr LW does ours, on the basis of if he wants any action in it, he has to keep it usable.;):rotfl:
Sharon I should imagine you're still totally cream crackered from all the hospital stuff - just post when you feel up to it, OK? Meanwhile, have a ((((hug)))).
Elliot best of luck with the tests. Will keep my paws crossed for you.
Got a new mobile phone yesterday - I had a letter saying it was time to renew my contract, so we went into town yesterday evening (late opening on Thursdays), and I've managed to get a tariff that's £5 a month cheaper than I'd been paying. I get 100 minutes a month, which is more than I shall ever need, as I only make calls in extremis and then only to Mr LW (he does all calls to other people for me) and unlimited texts, which is my usual method of communicating with him at work. So saved me a bit of dosh, and I have a new toy to play with.:rotfl:I also had a voucher for a free low energy light bulb from John Lewis, so all in all, quite a MoneySaving trip.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
