:rotfl: I'm the same! At one point I had my nose, eyebrow and bellybutton done and had my own dress sense. Friends would say things like "they're Kassy shoes" Yet my favourite saying is "function over fashion" and give me my comfy shoes and my cardi anyday!!
I've been having more frequent and extreme twitches of late. Last night my arm went that much that I smacked the wardrobe. I was asleep too and it woke me up. Later during the night, I dreamt that someone smacked me in the face with what looked like a big black hole. I heard the smack and felt the pain and it woke me up. My body just bolted upright!! I can only think it must be the tablets and hope it settles down although it seems to be getting worse! I must look really strange with how often I'm getting them but it's worse when I'm relaxing. Anybody else experienced this on Lyrica?
Must go. I've just been informed that a six year old wants me a fight in the back street  :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Kass I had really bad muscle twitches while I was on Lyrica, it got so bad especially at night that dh started talking about seperate beds  I also got bad dizzy spells and a few times even had to pull over while I was driving as everything was spinning around me. I came off it after the nerve pain came back despite being on almost the highest dose, Ive been off it for about 7 weeks and am still getting occasional twitches and dizziness. Talk to your gp about it.
BZ I hope mil2b is going to be home soon and stay healthy for the next couple of months, is there anyone who can keep an eye on her while your on your honeymoon ?
LW Im a bit more conventional nowadays but am an ex punk as is dh, although he's not really ever outgrown it although his hair is normal now, he used to have a mohican and my hair was most colours although never green. It's rubbed off on dd who's hair is bright red at the moment
cwta Im glad your dads ok and his wife will be home tomorrow, she'll be scared to leave him again. I hope you get a restful break, I know Ive asked you before, but what day are you going ?
It's very hot and muggy today, Im off for a shower to freshen up in a minuteReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

It's sort of a good thing tho, cos at least if she has this drain in then the district nurses have to go round at least a couple of times a week and that in itself will give her more support...especially while we're on honeymoon. Her sister is coming over this weekend to see her, so I think I'll have word in her shell.... I actually have been asking for about 18months about them sorting someone out to be with her while we're away....whispers in the wind :cool:Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »How is your Dad doing sue?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
sorry to hear BZ about MIL but maybe now you will be able to enjoy honeymoon with less worry now she will be getting support-every cloud......

Went home to a fab custard slice then went to bed to hide!
Today my so special friend Seaside has been and she has helped me finalise my funeral plans-lots of tears as well as laughs -but now l feel its done and l can put it behind me-but when the time comes its going to be easier on DH.
Well my latest fate is in the scans sat in a hospital computer tonight and nothing can change it now.

What black paw said with knobs, bells, whistles, morris dancers and a village idiot on top *g*. You are being so brave having to deal with all this and I thank *insert deity of choice here* that you have Seaside there to be with you as she sounds absolutely wonderful.
bz Sheesh!! Poor MIL2B. She deffo needs better care from the hospital this time round. You poor thing having it burst when you were there - not nice at all.
You don't need all this so close to the wedding, so I hope you get some result from whispering in Sis's ear this weekend.
I decided not to be selfish and phoned Dad and asked him if he wanted me to take him out to lunch today. The delight in his voice told me it was the right decision to make. Yesterday I reached the point where I was so tired I could have cried, but I slept quite well so not so bad today.
Must start thinking about packing!
