you are very lucky to have seaside as a friend, say hello to her for me x
woo well done unity booking the holidayit sounds lovely
BZ im afraid i agree with unity that it would be better to deal with things with your mil2b sooner rather than later, df is obviously very close to her and she needs to be well for the wedding as I'm sure its as big a day for her as for you both?
cwta i hope you and s/e have a fabulous timeand behave yourselves
I have this image of you both out having a wild time :rotfl:
blimey Iv gone totally blank now and cant remember anything else i was gping to say so  to everyone else
oh just remember about the funerals, everyone knows exactly what i want and dont want at mine .. im a bit morbid that waybut i had to arrange a funeral a few years ago very suddenly and unexpectedly and had no idea what to choose and i knew then that there would be no mistaking my wishes, no flowers! just one on my coffin. [i hate to see flowers die when picked] pink in the coffin obviously and i need to have matching undies but im not worried what clothes they choose and they will play guns n roses dont cry [version 1] as i depart
right must go and fetch ds1 and numerous mates from the skate house2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000
Thank you to everyone who posts comps xxx0 -
On funeral soundtrack notes: a girl I knew who committed suicide had "How Do I Live" by LeAnn Rimes played at her cremation service, a guy who was hit by a car had Queen's "No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young)" and for my mother we chose Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross" and Charlotte Church's version of "Pie Jesu", which she'd always loved. Her absolute favourite song was "Norwegian Wood", but we couldn't have that in an Anglican church service!Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0

When my friend's husband was killed in an industrial accident, my friend opted for a selection of tracks from the tape he had in his car stereo at the time.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

That's a good idea too. One of mine I picked for two reasons a) because it's a great song and b) because it was used in the film Highlander with Christopher Lambert and I know it is cheesy but I love it (ooooo those eyes!). It is of course the late great Freddie Mercury - "Who Wants to Live Forever?" I still can't watch that bit of the film where it's played without blubbing - it's so sad when she's grown old and is dying, but he is still young and gorgeous.
I used to always say it'd be a quick trip up the crem for me - but now I must admit I like the idea of these woodland burials. Although DH and I both said we would like our ashes scattering in the gardens of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury.
I've been out shopping with DH, bought a few nice tops and a guide book for Rhodes - so if anyone has been and knows of any places not to be missed - do let me know;).
LW - I think DH is taking the laptop so he can keep an eye on some investments that might need some action taking on Thursday of next week - either that or my new phone has t'internet on it for free at present, I'll see how it goes and may pop in.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Hi all, me and Unity met on another Fibro forum, but we both left quickly as the mod didnt have a sense of humour and banned jokes or any other topic except Fibro !
Kass in my dream book which is very old it says ' to dream of crying, is a forerunner of illusory pleasures, which will subside into gloom and distressing influences affecting for evil business engagements and domestic affairs' that obviously means its time to unpack your clothes and clean the drawers thenwell thats an evil domestic affair isnt it
Unity when are you going ? have a fantastic time and leave your pain at home
Im having to sit on the computer as my laptops playing up again, I cant charge it ? the same problem I had last time, Ive rang the fixer bloke and he's coming to pick it up in the morning, just hope it's not going to take 3 weeks like last time, I cant sit here for long and dh's usually on it most of the time when hes not at work.
Not speaking to dh, he sneakily got himself a ticket to see U2 at Wembly tomorrow, my fave band  he's not even a fan although he likes some of their stuff. He didnt think I'd manage the journey and there were no disabled tickets on ebay so he just got one for himself, how mean is that ? I wanted him to take my camera , but they dont allow cameras in the stadium  TBH he's right, I couldnt manage the 3 hour journey on train and 2 tubes, plus my bladders very sensitive at the moment and I can barely go an hour without needing the loo and I know what the queues are like at these places. he said he'd get me a T shirt so thats something I suppose.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I didn't do them. I figured bathing the kids and doing a load of laundry was enough for one day
(And I hate silverfish too!:o)
Not long now bz :eek:I must admit I have a particular Peter Gabriel song - played at the end of the film 'City of Angels', "I Grieve" and that is deffo on my list.."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

She's got a drainage/collection bag over the abcess burst-point (yeuck!) that will be kept there for the next 2 months, at which point they'll re scan her and reconsider putting the proper drain in then instead.
Her sister is down for the weekend, so I'm hoping me and DF get to have a minute to ourselves!! Until I go to other B2B's hen do tomorrow night of course... I'm still waiting to receive the photos from my hen do, so I can't adorn you with them I'm afraid...:o We went for a meal to a really posh italian place, where the table was decked out with table confetti, balloons tied to every other chair, an L plate stuck to my chair, and those ribbon/bow things you stick on presents on everyone's place settings with their names on. After there we went to a pub local to me that DF used to run, where I had the odd boody and the less odd steamboatKass in my dream book which is very old it says ' to dream of crying, is a forerunner of illusory pleasures, which will subside into gloom and distressing influences affecting for evil business engagements and domestic affairs'"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Have finished the day with making 4 fruity cakes,a sultana tray bake,a tray of cheese and marmite slices ,scones and a batch of the MSE hobnobs. We are off tomorrow for a week in our caravan and the goodies are the girls requests from what we had when we went away to cornwall and l used to take supplies!!!!

morning all
cwta and s/e hope you got there with no misshaps and have a great time. hope the weathe ris less wet and windy than it was last time you were there careful....not that rain or wind stopped you
unity and sharon dont overdo the rushing around before you go, have fun. hope you get nice weather.
bz have a good time at the other b2b hen night tonight. back home? that was a short stay. is the distict nurse going to be checking on her regularly even though the proper drain isnt in? fingers crossed you do get to have a breather while she has other company this weekend, you need it.
kass instead of aiming to do all the kitchen cupboards at once how about taking one a day until the have all been done? and eww i had to google silverfish they look like horrid things.
i nipped to my friends to feed her cat thinking that royal mail would not be here this early, he was just about to leave as i got home so i got the parcels without having to trek to the delivery office on monday....they start at 4:30am on a saturday poor guys. i wasnt expecting anything from amazon, it appears my sister forgot to tell me she was though ( thank goodness i was worried i had spent money i didnt have and forgotten all about it).
on the way to said friends i passed a lady with at least 5 dogs, but i think there were one or two more than that. none were on a lead and every single one was sat waiting for us cars to go past so they could cross....its not often i see well behaved dogs out loose liek that and so many with only one person too, i was impressed.0
