Hi all, me and Unity met on another Fibro forum, but we both left quickly as the mod didnt have a sense of humour and banned jokes or any other topic except Fibro !
I had that experience with a lupus site - it was depressing, just one big whinge-fest.

bz have a good time at the other b2b hen night tonight. back home? that was a short stay. is the distict nurse going to be checking on her regularly even though the proper drain isnt in? fingers crossed you do get to have a breather while she has other company this weekend, you need it.
Agreed....unfortunately I feel worse following her hen do than I did from mine! The mixing of steamboats and cheeky vimtos was not clever!:o
The district nurse came yesterday and was due today, so I'm hoping they're aiming for daily..?

I was impressed by the leadless dogs too!

Well it looks clean and not too large - which is enough for us. I do fancy a swim, but will have to take it easy as doc says I shouldn't do breast stroke (only stroke I can manage) as it's too much of a strain on my back. I never did learn the crawl :(
The front crawl is deffo easier on the neck...but then of course you have more issues with the breathing and it's harder work too imo...

Well I didnt get a T shirt last night, but he did record bits of every number on his mobile for me, then got it to play on the TV this afternoon for me, so it was almost like being there  Im on my own again tonight as it's The Rox weekend in Bognor, its an annual thing were they have a few stages around the sea front and live bands playing, mainly local although the highlight tonight is the lead singer from The Specials, apparently theres loads of stalls down there too and I was hoping to go down this afternoon in the wheelchair or scooter but I was shattered after ds1 and family left, and dh is meeting all his mates down there tonight, I dont like crowds much anyway especially when Im in the wheelchair/scooter and dd said there was loads of fights down there last night ( as usual) so I dont think Im missing much. Im trying to finish a book, but thought Id take the chance to come on the comp while they are all out.
I really miss my laptop already, and thanks PCL I hope they dont keep it that long again either ;)
Unity did your dd enjoy it last night ? I got dd to take me to Tesco to treat myself to a jacket Id seen in the week and fell in love with before she went out yesterday, I hadnt brought it when I saw it because I wasnt sure we could afford it, but after I found it he'd brought more tickets I thought sod it :D

Tryin! Went back round to B2B's house this arvo for the fold up matress and quilt I left there....and got DF to make me breakfast type foodage (at like 4.30pm!). It's not my head that's the prob, it's my stomach!
Tell me about it! SO much to pack into pretty much 3 weeks!!

Did you say it wasn't charging the battery properly? DF had the same problem and finally went to a shop that sold him an AC adaptor that actually works. If he bought a new battery pack for it would charge it up (both were friend apparently)

  • morning

this morning she left me a moth on the floor beside my laptop so it was the first thing i saw when i came into the living room (clearly its wrong that i turn the computer on before the kettle or feeding the cats). and another one by the door so when i was chucking the first outside i almost walked on it. she seems to catch more when its horrid drizzly weather than when its dry. there moan over :)

ill bbl when im more awake and with it

I agree. There's something a bit eewwww about being at a level with everyone else's crotch. LOL

Well, I have a canine guest for the week.

The lady from the sitting service turned up with her yesterday - but hadn't informed me she was coming! Thank goodness we'd already got back from the farmers market! What happened was she had asked if I'd be happy to take on a 12 year old blind poodle, and said she'd get back to me with dates, if I was needed, but then I heard no more. Turns out she thought she'd rung me again.

Anyway, all's well that ends well, little pooch is snoozing while I type this. She's just been for a trundle around the garden and now she's back in zzzz-land. :p
