Hope sharon's scan went well and something tasty has now been consumedBZ it's a worry about MiL2B, I should think. I hope it's not another of those horrid abscesses, poor woman's been through enough. How's your poor DF's back today?
DF doesn't appear to be complaining about his back today...and I'm not reminding him about it by asking! :shhh:CwtA how's your dad doing? What we need now is at least a month with none of us, and none of our rellies, going base over apex.

morning everyone
she brought in a smaller big one last night which hopefully is not still outside by my front door ....
paw my sister gets frogs regularly, no idea where form as there are no ponds near her afaik, i hate the noise they make when poked lol
bz hope mil2b scan happens first thing.0 -
pcl If you hate the noise when they're poked, don't poke them! *g*
Thanks for asking about Dad - he's healing and saw the gp this morning who looked him over and told him to take it easy for a bit. His wife's back tomorrow evening so I can breath a sigh of relief!
bz Your poor MIL2B. Df and you must be so worried about her. Don't forget to take care of yourself while this is going on. Did DF get his glasses sorted OK?
Sue Sorry to reply so late to your message. Glad the books were your sortta thing - it would be nice to get a look at the others you've mentioned as and when.
Saucy Lots of hugs to you me darlin'. I try to turn my stress and upset at things like faceless bureaucrats into anger and the sense of "I'm not letting them get away with this". It works for me would it help you? Don't give up. When you start to flag, come on here and we'll al get behind you and will you on.
kass Lurk away! It's been quiet on here recently, but we do like to have a sense that you're OK. We worry you know *g*.
Taking Dad out again and then HF is coming over late this pm to try to get the house straighter for s/e's arrival tomorrow night.
I think I might just collapse when this is all over! *g*
Hugs to all.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
cwta i was just going to ask when s/e was coming as i knew it was close to you being off dad sitting duty
i cant believe its already time to go again, seems like only a couple of weeks since you came back and were arranging it.
glad your dads healing ok and got the ok from gp. have fun with him this afternoon if you can. you need a week of not having to do anythingnwhen you get back, though the isles will go a long way to refreshing you (even if you dont acyually do nothing and rest there) i would think. hopefully you will get the weather for it.
cats poke frogs, its the warning that we need to go on frog rescue duty at my sisters, even if they are still outside, leaving them just results int hem being in the kitchen instead.
im quite disappointed, i ordered one of the water sipper things of these http://www.petsathome.com/find/keyword-is-fed+and+watered
the other day which came this morning. the dried food one is fab and the cats like it, i guess it keeps the biccies fresher or something. the wate rone i thought would be able to be filled up and pour intot he bowl as it gets drank but it doesnt work, it continues to pour out of the bowl, even when you fill it from the bottom like it tells you too. now i avhe to go to the shop and get a refund (but adding it to my dried food order meant i got free p&p so was still worth it).
hope everone is having a nice quiet day, or just busy and not not here because they are poorly or anything.0 -

DF still has no glasses either, so I'm absolutely knackered and sick of driving everywhere...not because I don't like driving, as such, just because it's knackering and I don't get the option of passing the buck so I can writhe in pain...
Sorry i've been lame in keeping up/commenting with others..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
lw I must have missed the bit in your post about your hair dye earlier, blimey I would have been a bit worried to. Glad it turned out ok in the end.Cheers dude. It is a tad worrying, but it's more frickin frustrating! I'm sick of them giving us the runaround and not looking after her sufficiently. This really better be the last time before the wedding too...I can't cope with much more!!

I hope DF gets his specs sorted soon; you need to slow down a bit to be at your best for The Big Day.Sorry i've been lame in keeping up/commenting with others...If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Good old No Hope Service eh? I bet you feel like kicking them sometimes.I hope DF gets his specs sorted soon; you need to slow down a bit to be at your best for The Big Day.'Ere, that's my name, what you doin' wiv it??:rotfl:"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

I'm rather glad it didn't end up green; but bth I'm so ....er.... unconventional anyway, I don't think it'd have worried me as much as it would some people iyswim.:rotfl:
I'm rather the same lw. I've always been known as the unconventional conventionalist as (I'm sure I may have said this before) I love shaved heads, piercings, tattoos but also comfy shoes and elasticated waist trousers
You made me :rotfl:at bz nicking your name
I suspect that Dad has had enough of my company as I have had of his iyswim. We're both getting tired and tetchy (or teasy as they say down ere). I've managed to blag the day to myself tomorrow after I take him to Audiology appoint at hoppital and bring him home.
pcl Yup. I would have loved a week to recover inbetween Dad sitting and Scillys, but c'est la vie. I'm looking forward to getting home for a rest before I've gone!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
p.s. bz I do think getting the MP involved is a good idea. I would have suggested going direct to the PCT at one time, but the MP doing that on your behalf will carry much more clout.
Please pass a kick in the arris (in the nicest possible way) to DF to get his glasses sorted so you can rest!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
