Goodness you have all been chatty. bz You seriously need some decent medical professionals in your area - what a pain in the butt! I think I would have been tempted to return the X-Rays to the Dentist in the post *g*
I went one better. I left it there. :D

lol bz nice one leaving them there.

cwta of course we, well i, want photos of how the garden has changed.

raeh did i mention its good to see you? meh school shoe shopping is not fun.

the weather here has been ok today, a few showers and felt damp but not actually raining.

i bit the bullet and decided to give in and get a house fairy. coming round tomorrow to have a chat..so i tidied up. one can now see floor sin my room (clean laundry all put away), the spare room, and the landing now. which means i could actually hoover more than just the stairs but i still cba. i did mop the downstairs floors yesterday since the kitchen floor was wet and the plumber was coming. hoping that fairies coming in every week for an hour or two will make me keep on top of piles of things to be sorted and such like.

pcl I think that's great!b I hope it'll make a big difference in your life having a HF. I find it difficult to have a peaceful mind when there's mess around the place - supose that means I should do some housework tomorrow *g*

Ugh, you're all being boring. Or rather, I'm bored.
DF forgot he was supposed to be in work tonight and only got reminded by a call from his boss half an hour after his shift started! I'm knackered but can't go to bed cos I have to go pick him up. Because he broke his glasses the other day I have to ferry him everywhere!!

Apparently I'll find out the/some of the details for the hen do tomorrow (which is on Saturday)...I'm intrigued, and more than a little anxious. :o Especially as I have a major bugbear with the girl who's organising it atm...it's a long story, but the bare bones is that she had a birthday do on Sunday night which I wasn't invited to.
I'm feeling a major friend cull after the wedding you know... I don't have the energy (physical, mental or emotional) before the wedding, but I'm getting sick of certain "friends" being the way they are...

cwta actually just having tidied up a little does make me feel so much better about the place. im not quite so ashamed of the mess now and i do so like a nice clean house. it needs sorting and if im not going to get off my arris and do it....can i justify the expense though, we shall see.

bz hope you got df and managed to get a decent nights sleep after.

    Hi all.

How much would I be looking to pay for a house fairy? I keep on thinking I need help and also with ironing but I don't know how much these things cost.

Doc has changed my meds and it's my first day. I feel really woozy and can't really focus my eyes properly. I've probably done it to myself as I came off my meds for a couple of weeks.

Will catch up later. Off to lay down.

morning all-sun has finally come out here -makes such a difference to how it makes you feeor me!
still waiting for someone to ring back from hospital since monday-still no news-have left another message.Am at the day hospital tomorrow so will enlist the Mcmillan nurse before l go totally dolally worrying.
when l had house fairy l always had to tidy first every time and she ruled me-told me what needed doing and l was too meek to argue!so start with firm rules and review it as you go!
going to put some washing on the line now then some sewing on my xmas sampler for DD2.
have a peaceful day all xxxx
:j this money saving is such fun:T
  • Morning (just)
I overslept a bit today and still haven't rpoperly woken up.
sharon Do we get to see a piccie of the sampler too?! *g*
I love samplers and it's my intention to get down to doing an old fashioned design of one sometime. McMillan Nurses are fabulous and I hope the one you see will be able to help you find some peace of mind. I am so sorry you are having to deal with all of this.

bz Aww, well do feel free to tell us if we're letting you down!

I'm finding it frustrating having to babysit Dad as I'm there all day but he doesn't want to do anything so I just end up sitting around when there are plenty of things I need to get on with here. He's not keen on leaving the dogs to come over here which I think is a bit of transference of his own state of mind.

I'm going through a patch where I'm really tired all the time and have a sore left butt cheek - what's that all about?!

  • p.s. kass I pay £10 an hour for my HF, but it's an expensive part of the country for help as we're competing with all the hotels and changeovers of holiday homes. Even an hour of her time makes a big difference as she can get so much more down in an hour than I can.
