    Any chance of a picture?

I've emailed a dog-sitting franchise to see if we'd be suitable as a host family; the lady is coming to visit us tomorrow evening, so I'm all nervous now.
Aww that's a mint idea. Pictures as requested:

Harvey. I think he's 8 weeks old in this pic - it was when they first brought him home - how cute??

BZ Awwww, Harvey is soooooo cute! Who could fail to feel better with him around?

Mr LW has just phoned to say he's on his way home - we have two bags of grass clippings to take to the tip, as I bribed him to cut the lawn yesterday.

Sharon how's the quilt coming along? I ought to be getting on with my cross stitch, but seem to have spent most of the day faffing about on t'internet instead. Luckily tonight's dins is already made - 2nd half of the quiche I made yesterday.:p

  • BZ, He's so cute I could swallow him whole! All paws and ears *g*
Hope your throat improves quickly and antiflybotics don't set off your IBS.

sharon I love patchwork quilts and the very fact that they are individual and not perfect add to the charm of them.

lw I hope you have a restful night and catch some spoons in your dreams. Good luck on the dog front.

sue So pleased to hear that your Dad's coming out of hospital. Bet he'll feel a lot better at home with his own things around him and sleeping in his own bed.

Went to a big show down here today - one of my faves that has retained a local feel to it. It was nice for the first couple of hours but then the heavens opened and we all got soaked. Had a lovely time despite that though.
Am feeling a bit battered and bruised and ankle is stiff and sore - also well beyond tired today so intend to stay in bed tomorrow if necessary and will certainly have a very quiet day.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Aawww 2 lovely doggies, does your belong to a friend plc ? how did your cats react ?

BZ Im sorry you've got tonsillitis again, hope it clears up asap.

LW It's not stupid to feel nervous about seeing your gp, it's quite understandable imoh. What a lovely idea to be a host family to dogs. We've sort of decided not to have any more dogs after we lose Diamond , they are too much of a worry when we go on holiday, and dd wont be living here for ever to look after them when we're away. I said to dh Id like to be a foster parent to dogs from a shelter, he doesnt like the idea though, Im not sure why, but probably becuase he knows Im such a softy Id want to keep them all :D

he was being dog sitted today by a friend so she brought him with her, apparently he yaps and barks when left alone and there was noone else to mind him today. whitney was asleep in her bed on the windowsil when he got here and didnt notice him for ages, eventually she sat up to look around and did a double take when she saw him. she watched him for a few mins, well stared him down more like, then when she realised he wasnt going to do anything other than watch her she curled up and went back to sleep again. chloe was and stayed hidden upstairs, she usually stays out of the way when i have anyone round anyway.

    harvey is adorable bz.

    have a good night everyone.

wow what a morning, well you remember my works have been totally unsupported of me this year, since being off sick, not a card nothing,

Well the boss rings again(she rang a few days back asking when i was going to send in my resignation letter) i told her that although verbally i had said i would be leaving, i actually haven't made a firm desission (agrrrr cant spell it) (i hadn't made up my mind),
she said today that they had thought that i might like to be redeployed to the office 2 streets away from me, which will also mean i am not working with these awful people too, and they won't be making anymore mistakes with me again, they know they can't, (paperwork at the solicitors as we speak)

As long as my pay is still protected (been redeployed due to redundancy already by them this year) i will loose the travel allowance of about £30.00 per month, but that i can live without

So i am left to think should i return to work, they would have to make allowances and ease me back in, want to get a tens machine for the days i am working because there is no way i can take these drugs and work, not when i am away with the drug induced fairies. They are making reasonable adjustments now, yes i know they should of thought of all this back in Jan. But i really need the money, its going to be 2 months waiting for dla, and we all sit and cross our fingers at hoping to get that.

Going to France to see my parents in a month and i don't have any money for when i am over there let alone the kennel fees for perry that i need to have too :(

So what do you think, should i go back to work, knowing i have them by the short and curlies......
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
