((((Hugs)))) to cwta, I hope your ok today after your fall yesterday. It must have been a very emotional day all round with scattering your mums ashes.
BZ I cant believe how quick the times gone either, did you manage to find those flowers you wanted ?
Good news, Dad was allowed home on Saturday afternoon and had to go back in 24 hours later, which wasn't long enough really, but I've just spoken to him and the infection has settled down and they are going to let him go home for good this afternoon :j Thankyou for all the prayers/healing vibes etc.
If anyone buys the daily mirror, apparently it has an article about htis new cancer treatment thats come over from America, Dads got his specialist looking into it to see if its suitable for him, but at the moment its only available private and costs around £22'000 :eek:Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Nope, suep, still not got a florist :embarasse
And to make things worse, despite having the car 2 days this week and wanting to search for said florist...I've come down with a nasty case of tonsilitis this morningIt makes me want to
every time I swallow or talk (and don't even get me started on yawns!)
Got a prescription without seeing a currently ellusive GP this morning, so I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in fast, but it's Erythromicin and I've got this horrible feeling that last time I had these it kicked my IBS off in a rather horrid fashion...but I'm not sure.

oh no bz not again
hope the anti's to work fast and without setting the ibs off.
sue great news about your dad.

What makes things worse is I can't just go to bed and curl up, I have to take mil2b to an appt this arvo (and already had to get up this morning to take her to a GP appt)...
Cute visitor tho pcl."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Awww, Pcl, what an absolute little sweetie!
BZ sorry to hear that you've got tonsillitis again. Bummer. Hope it clears up soon, without any nasty side-effects from the anti-robotics. How's your niece now, btw?
Auntie Axe I hope your ankle and gravel-scratches are better today. It's awful when you fall over, isn't it? I tend to get annoyed and embarrassed when it happens to me.
Suep it's good that they're letting your dad come home. Nasty places, hospitals, imho.
With all that stuff I did yesterday, I'm totally spoonless today. I never learn - every weekend, it's the same; I rush around like a lunatic to get things done while Mr LW's here to do the bits I can't manage, and knock myself nearly into next week.
I'm getting nervous about my GP appointment on Friday, as well. Stupid, I know; it's only a meds review, but i still get myself into a right stew about it.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
lw when I read what you'd said you'd been doing yesterday I thought you must've either been wonderwoman or heading for a spoon-free zone!! Hope you recover (and learn your lesson
) soon
Niece appears to be ok, thanks for asking. She's at home taking it easy and managing on cocodamol and ibuprofen atm. I think the 4 month old fox-red lab puppy they have is helping with the tlc"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

I've emailed a dog-sitting franchise to see if we'd be suitable as a host family; the lady is coming to visit us tomorrow evening, so I'm all nervous now.:rolleyes:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
