kass hope someone is looking after him well, and he has lots of things at home to keep him entertained when he is feeling a little better but still stuck at home and in quarantine. is it summer holiday time already almost?

*dances!*
Got a letter from the DWP today -- high mobility it is! Indefinite award, and they owe me £1200 in back-pay. And I saw the other GP, who has given me temazepam for a week to help me get my sleep schedule back into shape and relax my tensed-up shoulders and face muscles (subluxated my jaw last week).
Today is a GOOD DAY!Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -

Morning all
What a week, i have done.... nothing... I just feel so god damn tired, cant sleep till 2/3 then don't get up until about lunch time, the only reason i am up now is son made me coffee and bought it to me.
i think i've been on a downer few days, feeling a bit low and sorry for myself, (must snap out of that), house is in more mess, got boxes of paperwork all over the place that i planned to sort through, but have only managed a few boxes, the rest are on the floor waiting....
had my dla letter today to say they received my forms, and to contact them in 8 weeks time if i haven't heard anything.
What i really need is some kind of motivation, but all i can think of is my bum pain (right hip area) and that some point today my neck will start, it always does, i'm supposed to make a pineapple upside down pudding today i promised my son i would, again need to get off my bum to do that
What motivates you guys.. what gets you in that frame of mind to actually get up and do things..Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
Well done Tria, that's really good news, I'm pleased for you :j
suep, that's also great news!
Maybe things will start getting better for us all after all the crap we've been having lately. It's certainly nice to hear some good news :T
DS2 was sick last night but seems to have perked up again a bit today. He didn't get to sleep til gone three so had a bit of a sleep in this morning. I've got us all some popcorn and we're gonna watch a film tonight. DD1 is off to the party that I was supposed to be going to. She's going to be my dad's guest and is really pleased she's fit back into her prom dress from when we were in Ireland. She looks gorgeous in it, if a little oldand it's given her more confidence and shown that her hard work at Marine Cadets is paying off.
Yep pcl, summer holidays start soon. They break up next Friday for SEVEN WEEKS!!!!!!! It's just ridiculous.0 -
Sorry Pap, I did mean to reply to you. I can't motivate myself. I need a plan that I never stick to and end up late for everything which in turn makes me ruch and get more stressed and knckers me out even more!! *g*
So yeah, what motivates me..................being late!!!0 -
Hello all!
Haven't been on since last Wednesday, I just wanted to thank you for your supportive posts about my friend. I am coping better with it now...was admitted to hospital Wednesday night, with failing kidneys, and released last night. Did an OU TMA while I was in there, and passed!!! So happy.
Am having doubts about uni now. The plan was for me to be 2 hrs from my bf, who will have my car (if we get it, still no letter!) and come get me when I needed him. But I need him all the time. He's more like a carer then a boyfriend a lot of the time, he does everything for me on bad days. My GP said he didn't think being so far away would work, as I'd need to be in at least every Monday, and the uni can only do so much. Applied for a part time course closer to where he's staying, so I could carry on living with him, but its not such a good uni.
He doesn't want to influence my decision, and I really don't know what to do. Not only that but to have my operation before uni (its on my shoulderblades, and has a minimum of 12 weeks recovery!) I'd have to pay £3,000, and then claim it back 6 months later, or something bizarre. I'd have to use student overdrafts to get it, and then pay it back slowly with part time work if I can manage any, or a tiny bit at a time with ESA. Otherwise, they think it'll be December....exam time. They won't budge on it, though, they said health first, education second.
What a ramble!! Sorry guys...it's just so much easier talking to people who understand!
Hope everyones okay, K xxxSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
