BZ funny that perry does the same, oh has a cat that thinks he's a dog and perry thinks he's a cat. lil furball does love his cuddles tho, which is nice
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

im kind of struggling to take things in and remember what i ant to reply to or think what i want to say so not saying much at all, and real life has gotten in the way of my computer time and mad emy brain spin to the extent that when ive been on ive been hiding in logic puzzles instead. escapism is good.

and i was in the middle of writing this reply earlier and suddenly realised it was time to go out. so im not even going to attempt to read back now or catch up on the rest of the replies since i opened this page,

Step away from the diseased dog raeh and don't let it back in the school grounds!! Let the doctor check out your gooey eyes too :D

You feeling any better yet bz? Pheck em all love and lets have a beer

Yes auntie axe is always right *whispers* and she don't half do my head in with it :D:p

I haven't got a date yet but it looks like it should be ready for next week. LL rang me today and asked how it was going my end. Told him I have his months rent and just waiting on bond loan outcome (finally got the right docs to them today!). He said they've redecorated the top two floors and put me two radiators in the attic rooms (didn't even notice there wasn't any) they've skimmed over and painted all the artex bits and said they (presumably his wife and son) decided today to strip and re-decorate the living room which didn't even need doing but at least it will be brand spankers! The joiner is coming on thursday to fit new doors and put flooring down in living room. I've been a bit cheeky and suggested walnut flooring to complement the chocolate leather sofa :D He said he didn't even know you could get different colours  He's told me to go round and have a nosy if I want hmmm do I? Of course :j

Sorry you're feeling poolike pcl xxxx

Hope everyone else is having a nice sleep by now xxxx
  • That's more like it - we've got the kass humour back!! It's been a while and I hope it's coz you is feeling happier and more optimistic. I'm not always right - I've just been there and done that coz I'm old *g*
Looking forward to seeing piccies of the new house if poss. Tip for moving - get the beds made up as soon as you get in the new place and carry a bag in the car with all the bedding, kettle, tea, coffee, toilets rolls etc - anything that you are bound to need in the first day.

Raeh I like the idea of a guide dog pub *g* We used to joke at University that for those hoolie nights we needed a map of Bristol with the pubs marked in Braille *g*

pcl Hope your mind gets clearer soon - howzabout just taking some time to sit and try and keep your mind peaceful?

I need to go to docs again *sigh*. Ganglion on my left wrist has grown and is now pressing on a nerve and is hellishly painful. Tis gonna have to come out *sigh* Sooner the better though as it's really bothering me - think I probably set it off again moving boxes etc.

Quiet day in the Auntie Axe house today thank goodness.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

    morning all.

paparika hes a cutie, give him a snuggle for me :)

bz re the docotor and the wheelchair, he has a rubbish opinion, did you manage to spell out to him your point in the way that lw summarised it above? how about expanding it a little, pointing out that exhaustion form trying to do too much leads to days of being bedridden and unable to do anything at all and a wheelchair would give you back more freedom and allow ou to actually both push yourself more while also manage to pace yourself more evenly and lad to less exhaustion. send it to the wheelchair people and cc your gp. if all they are looking at is your age then they need it spelled out in a blatantly obvious way, and in writing removes all the emmotion and frustration, and means its harder for them to ignore or write off as you merely being unhappy with their decision and therefore arguing the toss so to speak.

ive hit the too much thinking makes my brain want to explode point. thankfully i dont have to be anywhere or don anything today, so hopefully i can also avoid seeing anyone and work stuff out.

bz can you get the gp to come to you if you have someone home with you, stay in bed and make the gp come to you? let them see how bad you are.

Reminds me i got a gp appointment next week, I hate my gp, 13 years ago i had a toddler with the most horrendous tantrums, he even rammed his little friends face into a brick wall, took him to the doctor because i needed help with him the then hubby was a waste of space and took no notice, so there i am in here surgury and lil one is having a paddy throwing the toys around in her room and she screamed at me to control my child, i looked at her and (unusal for me) calmly said thats why i am here.

roll forward and that toddler grew up to be a very helpful young lad, although he is very hormonal and the odd bouts of 'kevin' i have a brilliant kid.

anyhoo she is the only doctor that didn't refuse to see me when i had side effects from steroids and my uvities, so i am kinda stuck with her, but she makes my blood boil, last year i was in a lot of pain and wanted to see consultants for my back etc, she refused and said i just needed physio and kept refusing when physio didn't work and then had a cheek a month ago when i staggered into her room in aggony (the back went again) to suggest this suffering had gone on long enough and hopefully i will get answers soon. How and why i didn't scream its all your fault why i have waited Biatch i don't know.

bz i hope you have a better day today

good morning every one and perry the furball says hi too

  • Blimey paparika, she sounds like a nightmare! Is there another surgery locally that you could go to that might be more sympathetic?

Was really lucky and got a docs appointment with my fave GP this morning - she's only bloomin retiring in September. I did say how could she do this to me *g*
Luckily it's a fabulous practice and I would be happy to see any of the docs - it's just she's been there since the beginning of this with me.

Bad news is that it's not the ganglion causing the problems, it's carpal tunnel syndrome and it's in both wrists. She thinks right wrist will respond to usual sortta treatment, but left one is so bad it needs an op. They would usually do it at a day surgery, but because of some of my medical problems, I'll have to get it done through the Rheumy at the hospital *sigh*
So long as they can do it under a local and I don't have to wait too long that's OK, but .......
