Landlady just been - she is nice. Her husband is away working for quite a few weeks and she mentioned she gets a bit lost at the weekends so we may get together and have a trip out somewhere one weekend which will be good for both of us.

I can now slob for the rest of the day thank goodness as I am really fatigued.
tbh Tobruk I don't think we're any of us ever entirely without pain, but maybe a change in meds may make you more comfortable than you are now.

I've completely lost what else I was gonna say!
Check you, making friends! :p

You've just reminded me - you said you were on pregabalin and cocod tobruk, but I found altho the pregabalin was ace when I first started it, either I got used to it, or I realised after time that there was still stuff it wasn't dealing with that probably should've been...either way - what I'm trying to say is, if it's not enough, go back to your GP :)

    Hi Tobruk :hello:

I've just put on my most pathetic voice and got DD1 to run me a bath and make me a cup of tea!

Then I'm gonna put my jim jams on and clean up. Finally got my money sorted :j I'm splashing out and getting my hair cut tomorrow. Haven't had it done in about a year :o Need to look half presentable on Friday (for a funeral) and can't do it by myself! XOH's grandad died on Sunday but only found out last night. XOH working in Pembrokeshire on the rigs and can't take his phone on with him so we had to wait to get hold of him. I'm actually a bit pee'd off with my friend over it. She is getting married the same day and I said I would take her little girl to her dads after the wedding. Anyway, I text her and said I was really sorry but couldn't make the wedding. I apologised again and said it couldn't be helped. She sent me a message back saying "why not?" so I told her it was because of a funeral. She didn't text back to ask if I was ok, who it was or that she was sorry to hear it or anything!! Am I being over sensitive? I just think she is really selfish and it's starting to pee me off now. We've all put up with it for years (she's practically like family we've known her that long) but I'm getting to a point in my life where I'm starting to think I should do a bit of pruning on the friend front. Those that I always give, give, give to yet they can't even be arsed to ask how I am or they say "what's wrong with you, have you hurt yourself?" after I've been limping for three days in their presence!! and I just want to say you should know what's wrong and you would if you ever phecking listened to me!!!!

Oooh sorry that turned into a bit of a random rant didn't it! :rotfl:

Better go for me bath and calm meself down!!!! :o

I've never tried it, but I can't see why it wouldn't work - I'd be inclined to give it a go and see what happens!:o I had a quick poke about on the Web, and found this
    http://www.veganvillage.co.uk/recipes.htm
which might be of interest. I think there are some ice cream recipes there. I hope that tooth is better soon - there's nothing more miserable than raging toothache.

I'm pleased to hear it. You'll have been by now - I hope you told the doc everything you've been suffering lately, and look forward to hearing that you are feeling better (she says, hopefully).

Can I be insufferably nosey and ask what sort of woofer you have? Any chance of a piccy? (In case you didn't realise, I simply adore dogs):D

Sharon it's lovely to hear from you - sounds like you had a fantastic weekend! I hope the radiotherapy wasn't too unpleasant.

I'm still feeling fearfully tired and "out of it" today, but I have no choice but to get off my posterior and do some baking, or Mr LW will have nothing to put in his lunchbox tomorrow. Don't worry, I shall take my time and do as much of it sitting down as I can.

Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
  • Got a snotty email from landlady of the place that fell through and suspect I may have to fight to get my money back, but it's quite simple - pay up or I take you to Court!

kass I think once you have settled in your new place, a life re-assessment is probably a good idea, but give yourself some time to get over everything first, eh?

paparika - what a beautiful lad! All ears and legs - I demand more photos *g*

pcl Hugs to you - you OK lovey?
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Completely deflated and like everytime I think I'm getting a handle on this carp the powers that be move the phecking boundaries :( How we supposed to do all the "managing the illness" when they're always giving us conflicting advice/information?? I've more than had enough today.
