Yay! Auntie Axe is back! :D We missed you dude, glad you cracked. And tbh I think you NEED to have puter and t'internet hooked up to stop you being all go, go, go! You need to REST and take it in MODERATION! These words mean anything to you??:rolleyes:

Suep sorry you were feeling blue :( Hope you're feeling better now DH and DD are back :)

Lw it all sounds tasty, but sloow down a bit...please?

Honestly, do I have to set an example for all of you??:p I'm still on the couch doing nothing but puter-geekery and tele watching... and yet the gland under my arm is still agonising. :o

• Aww bless you bz - 12 weeks! It seems to have gone so fast. Saw you got the rings sorted and am delighted for you. Way to go!!
I'll have to start looking for a hat now *g*
Have decided just to potter today as have no motivation and precious little energy - actually that's not strictly true - I just don't feel like doing much and will give in to the impulse this time and start back again later.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Don't worry BZ, everything is out of the oven and onto cooling racks; I've done most of the washing up, and that's all sitting in the drainer - what Mr LW calls a "clean mess" - and I'm not doing any more today. (Sorry pcl you'll have to make your own grub - BZ says I've got to slow down, and I always do what I'm told LOL)

:hello: CwtA I think you should take it easy for the rest of the day, as well. Glad to hear that the kittie-cat is settling in OK. When's the virtual house-warming party?;)

cwta welcome back, not doing anything for at least today is a good idea, maybe have tomorrow as a day of light stuff only too? assuming all the basics are unpacked there is no rush for the rest.

hope mr lw enjoys the baking :)

bz 12 weeks already? its flying by.

• pcl I misread your post and thought you said as long as the "biccies" were unpacked! LOL

Yup, I've had a bath and washed my hair and have decided just to mooch for the rest of the day. Nothing to do with the fact that I can now get online of course *g*

I'm still sortta "nesting" in a corner of the living room where the basic tv etc is set up but it's not like I've got a deadline to get it sorted by so any pressure is entirely self-imposed.

I feel like an ickle girlie playing "house" *g*

Haha @ biccies Auntie Axe! How surprising that's what you'd misread it as... ;)

I've just found this while I was looking for wedding readings:

Yes, I'll Marry You
Pam Ayres
Yes, I'll marry you, my dear,
And here's the reason why;
So I can push you out of bed
When the baby starts to cry,
And if we hear a knocking
And it's creepy and it's late,
I hand you the torch you see,
And you investigate.

Yes I'll marry you, my dear,
You may not apprehend it,
But when the tumble-drier goes
It's you that has to mend it,
You have to face the neighbour
Should our labrador attack him,
And if a drunkard fondles me
It's you that has to whack him.

Yes, I'll marry you,
You're virile and you're lean,
My house is like a pigsty
You can help to keep it clean.
That sexy little dinner
Which you served by candlelight,
As I do chipolatas,
You can cook it every night!

It's you who has to work the drill
and put up curtain track,
And when I've got PMT it's you who gets the flak,
I do see great advantages,
But none of them for you,
And so before you see the light,
I do, I do, I do!

:rotfl:

Did anyone else read that in a Pam Ayres accent ? It's a good one BZ

cwta its lovely to have you back, I hope we dont hold you up too much.
The curtains sound good, and much easier than making them ;)

lw All that washing ups what puts me off doing too much cooking/baking, that and my waistline

Im happier now dh's home, not so happy to see dd who hadnt even been to bed last night, the only reason she didnt have a hangover was because she was still off her face  On the local news just now they said the festival organisers estimate 11 tons of rubbish will be cleared up from the site, I hope they are going to recycle.

Sorry suep don't know what a Pam Ayres accent would be like...

I agree with you about the curtains for Auntie Axe too, sounds like much less of a ballache!

I'm the same about being put off the cooking with the washing up etc - it's like a bombsite when I proudly produce my baked goods :D

Off her face DD doesn't sound that pleasant...! 11 tons!!!
