Thanks suep, I'm understandably relieved! :) Hope you get some rest and recouperation.

I'm b0ll0xed today. Couldn't even stand and walk outside without nearly falling over. I've not been this weak for quite some time and it's quite freaky. I'm pretty sure I have another migraine coming too... and I'm cold - which considering the weather is warm and sunny can surely not be a good thing! :o

me too pcl. I'm trying. :o I've done nothing but lie on the couch and ordering DF to make tea ;) I'm hoping to do sweet FA for the next few days. I think it's a combination of the infection from my abscess above my front tooth, excessive activity and catching at least part of the the ENT virus that DF's got.

BZ I hope your feeling a bit better today, I hate that weakness thing, its quite frightening isnt it, I suppose you have slightly overdone it lately havn't you  get lots of rest and you'll soon be back to normal.

I've been having some really depressing thoughts the last couple of days, having a bit of a pity party, must be being on my own thats done it. Not for much longer though ;)

Mornin all! How quiet is it without Cwta and S/e and such? And where's Raeh?

I'm doin nuthin today, if I can help it. ;) I need to find a suitable top for the funeral on Wednesday and we need to either do London and back on Wednesday or go a put stop at my bros in Derby on Tuesday night and travel down with him on the Wednesday? (which should save on petrol too :shhh:). If I have a top that pre-exists then it'll be still cooped up in a suitcase from the move and will have that stinky suitcase smell and will need washing...which means I'd need to do housework... or I need to go out and find one...? Decisions decisions!

    Afternoon all.

BZ re Wednesday, I think you should take whichever option is least likely to knock the stuffing out of you. Hope the day goes well (if that's the right word). Oh, and well done on getting the rings sorted (I forgot to say that before).

I see we have a couple of new friends on the thread - welcome, folks.

I'm taking a time-out in between making coffee and walnut buns, bread rolls, and cheese tomato and Quorn quiche. I'm not really overdoing it, honest......

Pcl, how's little Whitney doing now?

LOL at Suep sleeping on the sofa with Diamond - best thing to do sometimes, I reckon!

  • Hello peeps - I cracked and borrowed a mobile interne dongle from a pal as I've been getting withdrawal symptoms!
Am black and blue, tired and sore, but gradually settling in to new house. Am still moving boxes into appropriate rooms before unpacking a room at a time - I had forgotten how knackering stairs are at the end of the day.
I did check to see if I could hijack anyone elses connections here, but they are all secured. Sensible people. *g*.
Actually, it's been a godsend not having the pc as I wouldn't have got half as much stuff done if I had been popping online.
Will catch up on what's been going on with you all in a mo, but hope you have all been OK.
Cat came back from vets OK and I got some herbal sedatives from them to help her settle and she's like a different cat! Shes playing on the stairs and having a whale of a time although the first day she spent underneath the kitchen cupboards and came out covered in cobwebs and dust.
I've lost motivation for today, so will hang some curtains etc rather than hump stuff around.
Managed to get some major bargains of curtains and blinds from the local paper - really heavy beautiful curtains that all fit my windows exactly! Chuffed!
    Catch you later dudes.
