bz yay well done on the rings, was deffnitly worth hunting around properly for them. one more thing to cross of the list now then :D

sue glad your enjoying the quiet weekend, when do they all descend back on you?

pooh whitney is spoilt rotten, on the rare occasion i go to mcdonalds she gets her own burger (well to share with other cat now but chloe doesnt like them), if i have cereal she demands the milk, or next time i wear it, she even likes chinese food and chip shop chips. she used to climb my legs for cheese slices, thats her favourite kind of cheese for some reason. oh and nothing is good enough if its given to her in her dish, she has to steal or think she is stealing. guess who is boss in this house lol
whitney decided she wanted proper food this morning after she ate some of her chicken.she doesseem to be pretty much back to herself, even to the point of trying to get me up earlier than i wanted.

I think you might be right about the grass seeds or something...do you know what the ear cleaner thing was called Lw? Can you only get it from vets? Am I best taking them down there to get checked over? They're doing my head in and I wanna be sure they're not bringing fleas in (although I am 99% sure)...
BZ, if you're in the slightest doubt, I'd get them checked over by the vet. I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the ear cleaner (it's over 7 years since my little Penny crossed the Rainbow Bridge:cry:) and I'm 90% sure I used to get it from the vet - but it may be available from Pets At Home or a similar place. The vet should be able to advise. I do remember that it came in a bottle with a dropper, I had to put a couple of drops in each of her ears, gently massage them, and then gently wipe the insides of the flaps with cotton wool. Oh gods, I'm getting all tearful now, remembering my little girl.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Aww sorry dude :o They're not tooo bothered by it but it's got to be annoying, esp as it's annoying enough to watch! ;)

Thanks pcl - it was definitely worth the trip down to brummyland for those prices! We're made up :)

  • Hi was looking on MSE for some other info when I stumbled across this section just thought I'd say hi. I was finally diagnosed with FM last year after having been told it was arthritis for the last 5 years. its only now that I'm getting the medical help that I need recently saw a pain consultant who was very understanding he has changed my pain relief (my g.p had admitted he didn't know what to try next) and has said he'll refer me to the 16 day Pain Management Programme.I am also waiting for the first support group meeting in my area which I have been told by the organiser will be in August:confused:. I also suffer from depression and I amwaiting for counselling. Was suprised to see so many posts on here about FM

Hi fanakerpan  Welcome to the merry bunch. Fibro sucks, but at least once you have a name for it you have a little more chance of being able to deal with it properly! Doesn't surprise me (sadly) that you were misdiagnosed with arthritis, or that your GP was unsure what to try next with respects to pain management. I'm glad that there are a few more options for you now though. Please feel free to still around, we have a whinge and a moan, but also a laugh. :)

pcl it helps once you've work out how to remove used clues on HH!

fanakerpan, welcome, they are a lovely supportive bunch here, make yourself at home :)

bz there is a way to swap the clues you have left for the ones you removed too, in case you accidentally removed one or something. i confused myself by doing that the other day, but dont ask me how i did it, i thought i was pressing the what if button.

BZ Yay for your rings :j thats one less thing to worry about

pcl Im glad Whitneys feeling better. I laughed when you said how spoilt she is, Diamond gets a drop of milk in a bowl every time I have a cup of tea as well as sharing anything I eat, well its less calories for me :D
DH and DD are home tomorrow morning. DD rang this morning and said she wanted to come back today as she's had no sleep and needs a shower, but as the ferrys are all booked up today she decided to stay, that and the bottle of Pimms her friend brought to keep them going

Fanakapan Welcome, we do talk about Fibro sometimes honest ;) I was dx about 13 years ago, if you have any questions just ask.

Kass Hows it going hun ? did you manage to get some food/money for the weekend ? I do hope you get your money sorted soon, and the move.

Todays been a bit more hectic as ds1, his girlfriend and g/s came for dinner, I could hardly move by the time they left so had a little nap on the sofa with the dog.
