sue was the cake yummy? when and where is the holiday again? is today the start of your nice quiet weekend alone?[/QUOTE
Ok , it was me being dumb as usualproblem solved
Yes it is very yummy, Ive got G/D this afternoon so thought I ought to have something nice for her tea. Im off to Ibiza (the quite part) on the 24th, less than 2 weeks away now :j
Yes, Im really looking forward to the weekend. I got a bit worried when dd said yesterday that she and her bloke are going to sell their tickets to the IOW festival as they are both ill and on a/b so cant drink, apparently its impossible for them to go without alcohol  I thought my weekend was ruined, but with the money from the tickets they've booked 3 days in a hotel in Torquay on last minute.com, their going tomorrow, so Im safeIm going to read and come online with no interruptions, eat what and when I want and watch what I want on tv, cant wait

bz take care and don't overdo it, you are making me tired reading about all you are doing. You seem to be way ahead with wedding planning, well done, we remembered orders of service about three days before the wedding and decided we didn't need them!
I have been for a steroid injection in my elbow again today and even just typing is painful. GP says not to do any decorating for a few days!! Don't know what planet he is on. I can't even lift a mug of tea!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Morning campers!!
Got my wrist slapped by bz yesterday so thought I better get posting!
I've just been too whacked lately and bz has made me more tired reading what's going on with her!!!
Careful, are you in now then? The pics are nice. That kitchen and bathroom are gorgeous.
I'm not moving in that house now. Had loads of sh!te with DD1's dad and he has sent her back to me which is fine but I asked him if it could just wait until I had moved but the selfish bar steward wouldn't have it. Now I've got added pressure cos XOH won't be left in the house with her (which I don't really blame him for) so I have to organise everything around the pair of them's comings and goings, I've £1.25 to feed me and the kids on until next Tuesday and they won't give me any money and I also didn't want her coming into this atmosphere! I just want to cry but shan't because I'm aware there are a lot of people in worse situations.
I took the kids to my sisters for their tea yesterday and shall try my other sister today. I just wish they would sort my money out. I've been waiting 7 weeks now!!
I just want to move and get settled with the kids and then I can let out a huge breath!!
Yeah, that house was 2 bed which was ok for me and the three kids cos DD2 wouldn't sleep on her own since DD1 left but now she is back I need a bigger one. Luckily (see I do have some) I found a house with four bedrooms in a decent enough area and when I rang they said they would accept me on benefits. I went to see it and it is just like my childhood house so I found that quite comforting. They said they were very happy for a family to move in as the house has an ASBO on it
Apparently they had it rented out to 5 polish people who had a lot of parties (so I presume it was adults and not a family), the neighbours had this order put on the house so there is to be no music after 11pm.
Can't remember who I was going to reply to cos I've gone on so much about myself so I apologise and hope you're all well xxxx0 -
sue ay for daughter still going away, much better than them ruining yoiur nice weekend. make the most of and enjoy it
pooh hope the elbow pain eases up asap and its worth it in the end.
kass will they let you apply for a crisis loan to tide you over while they are slow sorting out your benefits? point out you have 4 kids to feed and cannot do that on thin air. glad you found a different house, any idea when you will get to move into that one?0 -
I applied for one on Monday and they gave me £40 because I was getting my tax credits on Tuesday. Went to the bank on Tuesday........no money. Got home and there was a letter there explaining that they had stopped my TC because I had failed to sign and send back a declaration. Rang them and told them that I had done that last week over the phone and she said that the advisor had'nt done it he had done my renewal which isn't what I asked him to do because I said to him I had lost the declaration and could I do it over the phone! She said she would re-instate it straightaway. Rang Wednesday to see when it would be in the bank and they said next Tuesday. I then realised that the schedule of payments weren't right and they said that I won't actually get a payment for this week as it's been calculated again and this weeks payment will be spread out over the year instead, raising my weekly payment by a pound or two. This means I couldn't even borrow from a friend as I wouldn't get it to pay them back next week iyswim?
So, then I phoned crisis loans who said that because I had one on Monday and I had signed for it then I can't have another one in the same period. I said that the information we had was wrong as I expected money the following day. He said it was an automatic no and all I could do was go to the jobcentre and ask them to review it.
Did this and they made me write a big letter explaining myself before telling me that they would send it to the people I had been speaking to on the phone to review!! So I said that he could have just done it on the phone then and she said no cos they have to have it in writing. She then said it would take 48 hours for them to get back to me :mad::eek: I pointed out that they should change the name to a "bit of a bother loan" because they certainly aren't meeting the criteria of "crisis" are they!!
It's funny how you can make a claim over the phone and sign things over the phone but they needed that in writing!!!
So it doesn't look like there is much I can do pcl but thanks for the suggestion. how's things with you?0 -
that stinks kass, its such a faff to get anything sorted out with them and it shouldnt be!0

Hi all. *waves weakly*
Sorry I've not posted since I got home, have had a singularly evil upset stomach & not been able to leave the bathroom for long enough to log on. (Sorry if tmi)
Not gonna try and answer everyone, but I hope you're all getting your various trials, tribulations and general f***-ups in life sorted and under control. *feeble grin*
Back when I feel a bit better - hopefully soon (trying for a piece of dry toast at the mo - if that stays down, we may be onto a winner). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
sorry you're feeling pants LW
Hope you feel better soon.
Kass I hardly slapped your wrists lol. Hope you get everything with the house snorted soon, and with the money etc.
Suep enjoy your rest!
Thanks poohbear. Trying to keep on top of everything and plan ahead...
I slept from about 12.30 (after being in bed from 11pm - early for me!) til about 3pm pcl. DF's come home and gone for mil2b's shopping, I'm staying firmly put on the couch!
Mil2b wanted to see the dogs yesterday so I took them over, but they usually sleep in her bed with her, and that's not safe while she's got the drain in, so we brought them back to mine...which they didn't like and it's made them more anxious - Molly wee'd on the dining room floor this morning (luckily DF cleared it up)... And DF got hives this morning on his forearms, and it happened on Monday morning too...so I'm not sure what that's about..?? Too much going on!!
Glad you put me on to HH though pcl. I'll have to check out the other games in time"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
BZ what did he clean the dogs wee up with ? it might be an allergy to whatever it was, unless he's allergic to dogs wee :rotfl: Glad to hear you've been resting today.
Kass Thats disgusting that you and the kids aren't been given the help you need, if thats not a crisis, I dont know what is. I hope you get some money asap. Your new house sounds lovely though, at least you've got something to look forward to, hope you can move into it soon.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Suep just a mop I think..? I shall check with him when he gets back... How boring is resting though really? Esp when you're too braindead to do anything like reading or puzzles or thinking...y'know?
And Kass...what suep said!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
