Ok, you dog-lovers on here might know...what is it when your dog's itching but doesn't have fleas and they're constantly shaking themselves out...almost like there's something in their ears they're trying to shake out..??

    What's HH pcl?

bz, it's probably stress with DF and with the dogs. You see cases of that where the dog has scratched his fur off and is really sore because they are stressed. Ooooh phecky heck I can just imagine the lot of you all red and itchy scratching yourselves as you all worry about each other scratching yourselves!!!

I had a jar of carbonara sauce and some pasta in the cupboard so spent the last of my money on some ham and it was actually a nice tea! Gonna ring 'em today and get on at 'em otherwise that's it for the weekend

Hugs to LW, Sharon and anyone else needing it xxxx

Grass or other types of seeds? Pollen? I've known little tiny bits off plants to get lodged into dogs' ears and they'll drive themselves dotty trying to get them out.

I used to get a special ear cleaner from the vet for Penny, and do her ears every few weeks, just to be safe, as she loved to run through the fields of long grass.

They can also get itchy with the warm weather - they can't take their coats off like we do.

Stress may also be a factor, as they'll naturally be upset that their normal routine isn't as it was, with MIL2B being so poorly.

As you can tell, food is now (fingers crossed) staying where it's put:j so hopefully I'll be back to "normal" relatively speaking soon.

    ((((HUGS)))) to all.:o

Hope you get you money sorted pronto Kass! Surely your kids respective dads wouldn't see them starve??

I woke up (after badgering DF to listen to his alarms ) and then couldn't get back to sleep, so I had some breakfast and watched some of the show that's been rescheduled from the afternoons on E4 because of stupid Big Brother then went back to bed.;) I woke up at 2pm with my sister ringing to say that her job are firing her (she only started a few weeks ago) because she went to an interview! (The job she's just taken is only a temporary one!)

    It never rains eh?

Let me get this straight.... she's in a temporary post, and they're firing her because she went for an interview? That absolutely takes the biscuit. What do they expect her to do - wait til the post comes to an end and then look for her next post??

Can she appeal on grounds of unreasonable firing? (Can't remember the proper phrase, but I'm sure you know what I mean).

Lw Im glad your feeling a bit better now, serves you right for going to foriegn parts for your holiday :rotfl: ok, I found it funny :o

I was going to say the same thing about grass seeds in dogs ears, our last dog was a springer spaniel and in the summer we were forever having to take her to the vets with them. Maybe ring the vets just to be on the safe side with the weekend coming up.
