lw being sensibubble and saving spoons! Good on you! I still tend to use them all up beforehand and then haveto recover after any activities. I'm obviously a slow learner *g*
Well, I've got three whole days with my favourite person in the whole universe, and a load of jobs I want us to tackle before we go away; things that I can't manage on my own, so saving my strength seems logical. Also, Mr LW will probably require some sort of ....er..... incentive to do the chores, so that has to be allowed for also.;)

Btw, I'd go for the walk on Perranporth beach.... the housework will still be there if/when the weather turns rotten.:o

Aww, you're gonna be all loved up. How lovely ;)

I combined business and pleasure today and took a drive to Perranporth through St Agnes and stopped off at all the hubs of the community - local shops, hairdressers etc and asked if anyone knew of anyone looking to rent a place. I actually came away with a couple of telephone numbers of people to try which was great. Took a short walk along Trevaunance Cove which is a lovely pretty spot where the Atlantic comes crashing in. More Picturesque and lonely than Perranporth and more beautiful for it, I think.
    Toodle pip.

Suep I'm glad you like what DD did to your hair - does she experiment on you then?

She's a trainee in a salon, but almost qualified now, most of the time she does the families hair at home. Thursdays is model day at the salon and if she hasnt got someone else booked in then she asks one of her family or friends to go in. She had to start doing these graduated bob cuts this week and decided it would suit me, then decided to change the colour.
I do enjoy being her model and shes got good taste so I let her decide my cut and colour now, its one less thing I have to think about ;) Shes got her dad in next week :D

cwta I'll think about the photo, I hate having them done and never see a pic that I like of myself ;) Were there any promising homes to let in the local paper this week ?

I have this rather frightening image of her dad coming away with a coloured graduated bob. Please tell me I don't need to worry.:D:D

No need to gloat about it, sheesh!;) We had a few hours of dry evening last night, enough for him to weed/feed/seed scatter the back lawn and mow the front, me to hang the washing out...get it nearly dry, and then it started raining again. *Sigh* I hate it when that happens!

  • Hey sharon. Nice to hear from you. Rest up as much as you need and I'm pleased the counselling has started and hope it helps you find some peace.

lw/suep I rather like the idea of Mr suep sporting a multi-colour mohawk *g*.

I left the housework til tomorrow when the forum's closed *g*

Not much in the paper in the way of houses, but planning on seeing a 2 up, 2 down in a mining village tomorrow afternoon. Downside is heating and water is via a Raeburn using solid fuel. Can you see me loading coal or wood onto it on a bad day in the Winter?

like the hair careful, good luck with the house seeing tomorrow. can you keep a raeburn lit all the time the way old fashioned ranges (in ireland anyway) were in winter or will it be a case of redoing it every morning? and how did i miss your post earlier i have no clue.

hope everyone has a good day tomorrow and finds plenty to do when the forum is down.
