    Tvm Cwta :)

I've just had a weird call from mil2b saying she's had a call from DF's boss at work...so of course my first thoughts are that he's either ill at work, or that his other job is after him. Neither were right - it was his boss at the office job saying that they've got a pic of him but want one of me and of the dress and are planning something for him to do with the wedding... I'm confused. Why would they want a pic of my dress? And do they seriously think that I'll give it them pre-wedding?? They asked what would be the best gift to give and mil2b (sensibly) told them money. I don't think I'm supposed to know about it, which is amusing as mil2b is practically no help without me or Rob to do the techy communications for her ;) I've emailed her (the boss) so we'll see if we get a reply... Mil2b didn't even take down her email address properly...just the website bit! Typically.:rotfl:

P.s. Oh and I finally got round to ringing up for a blue badge form! I'm so good ;) Oh and did I tell you I got a letter saying that I'm at the top of the waiting list for my wheelchair and that I just need to make an appointment for an assessment and I should be able to take my wheelchair away with me...

suep-I hate losing my independance with a passion and fibro certainly makes you feel bl**dy useless a lot of the time.I find loved ones also put restrictions down-albiet well meaing as they know the end result but l say bu**er off and let me have fun -even if l spend next week in bed-for me its worth it!

Thanks... It hasn't gone yet. Jaw's still crazy sore, some of my teeth hurt and I feel sick. It's so frustrating - I cannot seem to find a dentist who has any experience with my health issues who can take me on. The one I found who IS taking new patients is on the other side of town and has no clue about fibro or EDS/HMS, but told me it looks like I may lose another two molars if I'm not able to be treated soon. :(

Oh, and the dental hospital said they won't treat me. *swears again*

Its not neuralgia is it? Thats how my FM started! Trigeminal I think. Ask your doctor as there is medication other than pain killers that work on some people. Luckily I am one of them, I just have a continual dull ache there now. So much better than it was.

bz My DD was married last month and we went very MSE, used a friend who taught family how to make buton holes. They are very fiddly but people with 'normal' hands should be able to manage. I made one too!! The groom wore mine. :D

Forgot to say that we were recommended from the flower ladies at the church to say we were buying flowers for a church and we got a big discount on the flowers. If you say wedding they charge more!! And we weren't lieing as it was in a church!

I certainly hope so. I'm also hoping the Blue Badge isn't an @rse ache to get now... I have no clue what to put on the form...any pointers?

Suep I know what you mean about giving up your pride for the illness....I was asked by "my best friend" on Sunday whether I wanted to go to Primark with her today...which normally I would say yes, especially as I've wanted to go for a few weeks, but as I've not exactly been on form lately I knew I shouldn't push it by standing about and walking for like the 3hrs it takes to get round Primark (I know, it's extreme ) so I said I was free but didn't think I'd be physically up to it but that I should get my wheelchair soon. Now, it's worth mentioning that I've never asked anyone, or had anyone else, push me except DF and that took a looong time for me to swallow my pride even then (and I still don't ask for the chairs myself, I get DF to do it and I still get a bit embarrassed)... So I really didn't know how to approach it with this friend. I didn't know whether I should ask her, or whether I should leave it til I got my chair, or what... It's a new situation to deal with and decide how much control I can pretend to have over this condition... In the end she sent a message asking whether my chair would be motorised or not and when I would get it... I said no it wouldn't be motorised and *deep breath* would she manage pushing it...she said she'd give it a go...but of course now I'm paranoid about how much me+chair will weigh :o

Ta pooh. I did think that I would more than be able to manage the buttonholes - as it looks very much like it's just the stem head with floral tape and a pin... but then I remember that I'm being put under house arrest for the week before the wedding! :o Mil2b's idea to keep me as well as possible for the day  I think if we don't have any joy I might have to get some of my more crafty minded rellie's roped in to do some though... It's the prices of the bouquets that bother me more tbh. I think it's extortion to try and sell what is essentially 4 bunches of -allbeit pretty- flowers for £155!! _pale_:shocked:
