bz thats good that it was sorted out that way
these days even though you would like to tell people what you think of them, you just cant for fear of not knowing what they will do! the police were definately the best option
my appointment is on tuesday  the last one had to be cancelled [not my fault] its a long appointment too as i have to go for to sort my contraception as well
iv forgotten everything i wanted to say as well now as its been so long

Thank you to everyone who posts comps xxx0 -
Get writing that list Raeh!! It would be far too frustrating to go without telling them everything - esp as you don't often go...
DF was gonna come pick me up and stay with her for the evening cos we weren't sure what the guy's reaction would've been after the police left but it seems to have been ok..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
BZ - I've moved house a lot over the last few years and it's not the first time we've had neighbours like that. My heart always sinks when I realise. Well done to your DF, it sounds like he's handled it really well0

nasty neighbours are the worst nightmare. well done your df bz for sorting it and keeping his temper.
pooh welcome back, sorry the job center was so demoralising.
sue glad it was sort of fun, hopefully you are not aching too badly as a result.
morning everyone else, im not even going to attempt to name all. where are all the mia peeps, has anyone heard anything along the lines of they are busy and thus just not here?
ive managed to really mess up today, arranged plumber forgetting i would have to be out between 10 and 3 ish, which might be ok he is supposed to come round 8 and i intend to send him to buy a shower anyway since i cba to attempt that. but i also have to take the car to the garage around 8. time slike this i wish someone else lived here. tomorrow they are supposed ot come and service my boiler, just as well really as while i was checking it was get at able (ie th efloor was clear in that room) i noticed its flashing. its working though as my heating is currently on.0 -
Morning all
Welcome back pooh. Nice to hear from you again.
raeh, yes, make a list before you go to the docs. If I tell you to do it I ay remember to make one myself for the Rheumy *g*
bz What a nightmare - you must be proud of DF though. Handled it brilliantly and will have knocked any possible future problems on the head and reassured MIL2B for the future. Well done him, but you must have been so worried.
Sue I hope you don't have too much payback from playing with the big kids *g*
pcl so easily done isn't it. At least you can take the car when the plumber is out shopping for shower. Hope boiler etc get sorted OK. If it's a combi boiler, have you checked whether it needs repressurising?
I have things to do today in a day where I really cba.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
cwta i have heard of such things, but how to check i have no clue, plumber may fix it anyway he has to check the boiler for landlord gas certificate. any chance of postponing some of the things to do? cba days should occasionally be given into imo.0
-
pcl, may be worth getting the plumber to show you how to do it for reference in the future? Hope you manage to fit everything in OK.
I can't really postpone anything as I have Rheumy appt and then promised to take the family greyhounds for a walk afterwards. It'll do me good in the long run as sitting at home at the moment is affecting me negatively too much. Particularly when I haven't slept well like last night.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
righty plumber is coming back another day to replace shower, left him here while i took car round and thankfully they are sending the bill(s) to my landlady direct as to replace the broken windscreen wiper on the car is going to be 250someting quid. luckily i have it today though my sister shall have to lend me petrol money to get to/from hers at the weekend. cam belt shall have to wait till next month, i thought it would be the expensive thing. plumbers brother is an electrician so hes going to send him to do that safety cert for me and i shall get him to replace the oven too. think i shall fiddle with my phoe calender later and set reminders for certs for mext may otherwise it is likely to be another 3 years before they are done again.
cwta have a nice walk with the dogs, and good luck with the rheumy.0 -

Nine days camping on a beach though, I don't think I could manage nine hours
We definitely have similar taste in music! Have you heard of Jeff Buckley? He's my cosmic twin. He was so talented but died really young.

I'm a sucker for a good voice and deep eyes
ETA: Roger Waters - he had to improve with age, bless him! Nick Mason was always rather yummy...!
Jeff Buckley??? But of course dear girl!! I particularly love the Corpus Christi Carol and Lilac Wine and of course Alleluia. How weird that he should foresee his own death like that though .

Ahaha. That doesn't surprise me, given half the pictures that come up early in Google results, which either aren't that great or have her wearing way too much makeup... I am so glad she's cut down on that!
Dave Gilmour was pretty for a guy, in his day, but I would take Mary over just about anyone else, especially with legs like hers... I mean really, looking like that at 57? Mmm... Hehe.
More recent, more resembling picture? Even though the lighting on it sucks because I had to scan the photograph. *glares at scanner* Oh, and since you wouldn't know, the green one is me.
Sorry Tri, I still prefer Nick Drake- but if pushed to bat for t'other side I think I'd agree with DH and plump for Dana Delaney - as she looked in 'Tombstone' or Kate Bush
, two gorgeous women - although really thinking about it I have great admiration for Annie Lennox too, there's the music, the looks and most of all - the fact that she is sooooo keen on making the world aware of all the causes she's involved with :T. Whatever 'it' is, she has it in spadefuls :j.
Love your costume BTW. I remember going to an SF con way back when a guy went to the fancy dress in normal clothes and one black glove on his left hand. You'll get ten points if you can tell me which SF award winning novel he was dressed as?:D:D.
