    :hello:I'm Baaa-aaack MWA-HA-HA-HA

Hel's teeth, I go offline for 5 days, and the thread goes mad! What's it gonna be like when I'm away for 10 days in a few weeks' time?

Glad you had a good b'day Sharon, sorry I missed sending you b'day greetings.

OK, there's been too much going on for me to do loads of replies - particularly as I'm supposed to be in the kitchen making fruit crumble at the moment, but instead am sitting on the sofa thinking about it.

  • That sounds like a wonderful Birthday weekend sharon. Did ya get a snog from Mr Essex?!
I would have insisted, but you may have more manners that me *g*

lw, you cook and bake loads! Have you heard of takeaways? *g* It's nice to see someone who does all the home cooking, but it must be tiring.

Spoke to s/e today and she's OK but suffering from poor sleep still. Said to tell you all she's still knitting socks *g*

I never did get round to starting the notice board I was going to make yesterday, but tomorrow is another day.

Sharon Im so pleased you had such a lovely birthday, and such an amazing surprise from your dd1, the whole weekend sounds perfect.

cwta Sorry I thought Id said, we're going back to Ibizia where we stayed last year, right near the Hippy Market :D
I spent ages at the library, nearly every book that I fancied turned out to be 1 of a series, I cant stand for too long so got a bit stressed out, I ended up in the teenage section where I got 3 books , one of them is the first in a trilogy so no doubt I will have to pay to order the other two  I remember now why I started buying cheap second - hand books on Amazon.

lw where are you going in a few weeks time ? I cook from scratch too, I have to for my vegan meals , I usually cook extra and freeze down meals for when Im not up to cooking. Im trying to resist making anymore cakes or puddings at the moment, I want to lose a couple of pounds before the holiday ;)

  • sue you may have said where you were going and it probably slipped through one of the holes in my brain :o
I used to love going to Menorca - to the Northern side of the Island where it's quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I don't do loud places :D

I got the new Nikki French book from the Library and a text book on Digital photography which may well sit unread for the 3 weeks I'm allowed it

I'm up early as I'm having some disturbed sleep at the moment. Think I may have to have a nap later.
What happened to the nice weather we were supposed to be having this week? It's grey and drizzly here today.
