Hi All,
Just got back from Glasgow where it was cold and wet on the journey up - freezing cold last night and chucking it down - but much better today when we drove back. I will be glad to see my own bed tonight - but that is after the stitch n b1tch and/or a trip to see 'The Uninvited' at the cinema. I'll have to see how many spoons I have left.
Hope you're all as well as can be expected.

I'll be interested what you think of the film Unity. I tried to read the book, but couldn't get into it. It is one I may go back to though.
I've had a bit of a funny head on today and haven't felt like talking much which is a bit weird as I've been feeling a little lonely since I got back from Scillys where I chatted to people the whole time. Am sure it will pass soon though.
I really need to kick my arris in gear soon and get on with things here, but can't seem to motivate myself. Still any deadlines I have are set by myself so I suppose it doesn't matter too much.
I got some Jersey Royal potatos yesterday at the market and they are really scrummy this year after a couple of years of them being mediocre. Am having some with some lamb tonight and making my version of kedgeree tomorrow night where I use tatos to replace the rice and omit curry powder - tis quite nice.
sharon I hope today went OK and that you came away with something positive from it.
BTW is anyone having hayfever like symptoms this year? I only suffer from it normally when the pollen level is very high, but have been getting phlegmy/itchy eye type symptoms almost every day, particularly at dusk.
Not ignoring anyone that I haven't mentioned by name. Hugs to everyone.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

have a good evening/night everyone.0 -
Want send hugs to those who feel a bit off today-seems to be a common theme of wanting to curl up quietly alone.
Ihad a good day at the day centre-felt incredibly cared for at the end of it all.Got to see physio and she nicely told me off for expecting too much too soon!I saw the consultant who was lovely and reassuring and honest.did a relaxation session, lunch, blood tests-they wonder if l am anemic as look very pale.told them l have been breathless and immediatly got tested for asthma -which looks like l have -am awaiting call tomorrow as consultant had left.Altogether a warm and inviting place to go!
BZ -your poor OH must be in agony bless him.
CWTA-jersey Royals-have sent hubby to get someone in Tesco!

Thanks for all the replies. I was diagnosed with fibro about 3 years ago now, have my ups and downs as everyone does, coupled with my arthritis in neck and lower spine - ' i sort of cope'!! All this and still only 38 - yep I'm having a downer day. I can cope with the usual symptoms - just not the new stuff ie: the ovary pain! Got my 'urgent' scan through, it seems they class urgent as having a scan in 2 weeks or less, mine is in 13 days! Been told to go to A&E if it gets worse before then - will wait and see, the tramadol is helping with the pain from the ovary - if I can put up witht the itching, seeing GP again tomorrow about that. Funny though, Tramadol never helps with the arthritis or the fibro pain.
Hope all of you ok and not having too bad a day
love

Hello All, Have OA/RA and hypermobility. Started Tramadol yesterday (had a some very ropey days beforehand as old meds causing all sorts of nasties) anyway - I felt them kicking in last night with a huge whooosh....I know what they are anything else I should know about them?? Many thanks - and I've just found you - didn't think you were covering all arthritis..Mx0

Yellowrock If you double check the leaflet that comes in the Tramadol box, it says itching is one of the side effects, if its that bad then go back to your docs. I get it sometimes, but it doesnt last long so I put up with it.
Sharon Im glad you had a good day, it sounds like a nice place.
cwta Im the same, I only get hayfever if the levels are really high, and the last few weeks I keep getting all the symptoms. DD also is getting the symptoms and shes never had hayfever before.
Unity welcome back hun
