Cheese and tomato, please. Oh...... not that sort of roll. Sorry.:D

    :rotfl:nice one

lw Thanks for the recipe, it sounds lovely, Ive got other risotto recipes Ive tried before and like trying new things. The book sounds good too, Ive taken note of it and am going over to Amazon after this, only to put it on my wish list
I had to go to my app, I had a dodgy one a couple of years ago, so they are keeping a close eye on me.
Im sorry about the yukky mouth ulcers, I didnt realise they were a Lupus symptom, I must tell my friend, its been suggested she might have lupus, and shes got almost constant mouth ulcers.

cwta well done on winning the comp. I gave up going on that thread, all I got was spam.

Unity :rotfl:at your description of Twilight you do know were not allowed to mention that book here dont you

bz, the anti-histamines do stand a better chance of working if you actually take them
No, no, I take the antihistamines religiously, it's the Nasonex steriod nasal spray I can't stand. It makes me want/need to blow my nose straight after or either runs out of my nose straight away or down my throat. :o

Thanks for the recipe LW. Glad you used normal rice too...I hate getting extra things in for something like that.

Yellowrock I think you're doing the right thing being cautious. Let us know how you go on?

Hi mousey, forgot I'd not responded til I read LW's post!

DF came back up shortly after storming off to apologise. He'd taken some things I'd said (as I knew would happen no matter what I said ) out of context and far more personally than he should've. All snorted 10 mins later, just infuriates me at the time iyswim.

I've got swollen sore throat this morning/afternoon (I woke up from a horrid dream at 11am -having only got to sleep about 5am so was knackered- got DF to tell me a story while I fell back to sleep (I'm such a kid!) and woke again at just gone 3pm! DF's face is starting to un-swell though and he can actually open his mouth almost properly now :T Some nasty coldsores appeared yesterday though, one on his lip and one just inside his nose (grim!), but they seem to be settling quicker than normal - probably because of the antibiotics he's already on, I'm guessing. He's gone to get me strawberries and grapes (with maybe a touch of icecream :shhh: ;))... which I'm hoping will ease my throat.

anbesol is better for mouth ulcers than bonjella, i prefer the liquid to the gel though and it stings worse than bonjella does but it does work.

thanks :) see i knew i was forgetting some good books, i really must get round to investigating that out of copyright digital book thing some day too, if i could remember what it was called. (of course then i would want an e-book reader gadget thing).

i was considering getting the twilight series, but if its mills and boony i wont bother, so im glad it got mentioned even if it is not allowed here (and i must have missed something).

k i cant remember what else i was saying, im going to have to start doing advanced replies and see if that stops the post eating monster, if i remember.

pcl the "mills & boony" Twilight :shhh: books are not allowed cos Tria hates them...or something...

I've got internet again!! YAY!!! :j:T:beer::dance:
REAL BONAFIDE BRAODBAND!!!! THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :D

On the mouth ulcer thing, I usually use a cottonbud dipped in TCP and dab that on the ulcer like twice a day. Hurts like an absolute sod, but I've found it dries them up and sends them on their way quicker...?

My thoughts exactly!! I've actually got "excellent" connection strength for the first time in nearly 4 months though, so that's a good start!!

I use difflam spray for my ulcers, although my hubbie got a trial pack of aloclair strips to try, he said they cleared his ulcers up much more quickly than normal.

    hope it helps

  • pcl, it sure does and far cheaper than botox or whatever the current craze is.

Well done bz on your broadband. Did you get your Sky TV etc too?

Why is it that I know damn well that my getting dehydrated during the day contributes to the thumping headache that always starts at this time of day, but I forget to up my liquid intake? *sigh*

Hope that all who aren't around at the weekends have a good one
