    cwta yay, what a relief.

kass yeah id say you should meet the hardship criteria, do go for it and good luck.

sharon have a good time with dd. dont over do things though.

sue rest up well and enjoy th eparty. hope your feeling less achey today.
  • sharon, I don't think you'll have to make any plans to have a special time with DD. She'll just be pleased to spend time with you. Please do make sure you don't overdo it though.

kass, there's lots of stuff on these boards about claiming back money from the banks under the hardship rules. If you don't feel up to the research, it's sommat I've always enjoyed, so you can PM me questions if you like and I'll try to search for answers for you? How's the property search going?

I'm feeling chuffed today - found 2 Monsoon tops in Charity shop for under a fiver each. Got a metre of wadding in the remainders section of fabric store for 99p and some ribbon - 4 metres for £2! Now I've got all I need, I must really shift myself and get on with actually making the notice board. Will wait til hand is improved though.

Got the DVD Australia to watch tonight - looking forward to it.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

BZ hope having your 'own' BB is good ;) enjoy the party :p

hassie congrats :D lovely to see a new baby isnt it

cwta well done on getting an indefinate award :) must be a huge relief, does that mean no more form filling then??

sharon have a fab time with your DD but as someone else said make sure you dont tire yourself out totally ;) get lots of photos taken on days out so we can [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] see :D

kass good luck at getting the charges back  i was only ever charged once for going over drawn and they gave me the charges straight back as it was a mistake as a DD went out a day too early and my wages hadnt gone in, im a bit anal about writing every penny down i spend :o

sue enjoy your grandchildrens parties :D its my nephews 2nd birthday next friday but with the baby just being born it will just be family and not a house full of toddlers ;)

pcl thanks for telling me about anbesol, iv never heard of it but i constantly have a mouth full of ulcers and still have the cold sore, this time it just wont heal at all :(

talking of my coldsore not healing [well i was i know you all werent] i remember us talking about cuts and sores not healing quickly some time before, but at the moment any sore i get is taking weeks to heal rather than a few days. Like the cold sore, usually 4 or 5 days and they start to heal but this one isnt drying out at all [tmi sorry] and its been 10/11 days? something else to add to the ever growing list for the gp which i know when i get there i will have forgotten and cant remember a thing thats wrong lol

its sunny here today but cold and very windy, we have just bought some tumbling tomato plants and iv planted them in a chimney pot outside the kitchen door :D i really hope they grow lol, i dont usually have much luck

i hope everyone i havent mentioned by name is ok and having a nice restful weekend

    xxx

I also forgot to say that yes thankyou to all who asked, I am feeling better today, its still there, but much milder thank goodness, I cant cope with that severe nerve pain for long, I know I overdid it on Thursday with g/d, shes getting too big to keep picking up, but its so hard to say no, Ive just got to find another way of coping with her, she was really clingy this week as she was overtired and fighting it which didnt help.

Right I've got the house to myself again tonight as d/hs off at another gig, Britians got talents just finished so Im going to bed to read my book,
I dont really fancy Diamond coming up with me as shes very windy, but I doubt if I can get up there without her

Lol! Thanks Auntie Axe :) It was wearisome, I have to say! DF has suffered for it too.

DF's in bad shape tonight though...the codeine seems to have found him from the copious cocodamol he's been ingesting all week. :o I ended up going to the chemist and got given Anusol! (sp?) :rotfl:After all that chat about it!! He's been in pain though so I shouldn't laugh. Had me going up and down the stairs with cups of tea and everything.

your welcome, its usually kept behind the counter in pharmacies for some reason, so ask for it. if they act all confused ask for adult strength teething/mouth ulcer stuff.

bz poor df, hope he, and you, got some relief and sleep in the end.
