cwta thats rediculous. do speak to the practice manager. i would suggest making it an official complaint, since complaining informally to the pharmacy itself has not got you anywhere.
head is sort of better thanks raeh, didnt get back to sleep, but maybe ill sleep tonight as a result. i can hope nayway.
carp my friend decided to come visit arrggg!0 -
I was happy to hear that ds1's partner went out and brought some reins for g/s first thing this morning, it still keeps going through my mind no matter how many times I tell myself he's fine. I just hope they have more luck with the reins than I ever did with my 3
pcl I hope your friend doesnt stay too long and tire you out. I prefer to visit people if I can, then I can leave when Im readyHope you get a good nights sleep too.
cwta I hope you manage to get all your meds, and get to see the practise manager soon, you cant be the only one having problems with them.
It's been lovely and sunny today, but the winds been so strong, Ive worried about d/h up a ladder. I wish he'd stay at home on days like this, but its the only dry day forecast this week so he wanted to go and try to work.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Suep - my heart was in my mouth just reading that - bloomin' heck what a shock for all of you . I'll bet you'll be aching tomorrow as it's always worse two days later. I do remember though reading that children cannot judge traffic, especially speed and distance until they are around eleven years old, which probably explains a lot of accidents - well those that aren't caused by speed!
CWTA - Nah it wasn't the home cooking, I've lost weight since it was put inbut there's some link between the foot-plate and the seat and it had snapped I think. It's not the first time this has happened. Luckily there's a twenty-four hour service 365 days a year.
I sympathise with you over the prescriptions, I can't remember a time when either the surgery staff or the pharmacy haven't c0cked mine up . I do get quite a few meds, but it doesn't matter whether I phone the list in or fax it - they still get it wrong - I mean hell, it's not rocket science is it?
Well, I suppose I'd better go and sit in suspense listening to the Tyne/Tees derby, now there's torture . I am hoping for a draw - but only because it would help Sunderland to stay in the Premiershipwhich also means that DS will not have a face like fury when he arrives for his dental appointment tomorrow

The weather is much better today so my mood has lifted a bit :T let's hope it continues. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Unity I still feel sick every time I think about it, he ran out between 2 parked cars opposite the entrance to the park so I think he was probably trying to get there. His dad was always getting into dangerous things when he was little too, when he was 3 he jumped out of his bedroom window trying to fly like superman ! when we got him to hospital and he was cleaned up and checked over he only had a cut knee, didnt even need stitches. That was just the start of his scapes, they got worse as he got older, I do hope Levis not going to take after him like that, I dont think my heart can cope with much more.
My stairlift has the same problem, its done it so many times, Ive left it now, it still works I just have to put the footplate down myself with my feet, Ive got used to it now. It must be a weakness in them.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Ugh, spent all arvo (feels like eternity!) at the hospital with Mil2b while she had a load of tests... knackered and unchatty so I'll catch you guys tomorrow..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
morning everyone, hope you all had a decent nights sleep and various painful thins are less painful and annoying and bothersome today.
i have to go to the dentist again, so he can finish his fixing. i had managed to forget about that until 3am last night.0 -
BZ what a nightmare, hope you've got a lazy day planned for today to recover.
pcl I take it you didnt get a full nights sleep again last night. Good luck at the dentist.
I was awake most of the night with pelvic pain from another bladder flare up, I started taking a/b just in case and will just have to wait for it to pass. It's my own fault for eating some pineapple on Sunday, Im supposed to avoid anything acidic but it was so nice I couldnt resist it. Ive planned a lazy day to recover.
Hope everyones okReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I remember about the 'Superman' scrape - well who could forget? I don't know how you've survived as long petal, I was very lucky with mine - the girls were more bother to be honest, with the eldest falling from the top of a dinosaur slide at some theme park, on her head of course! Then DD2 fell off a see-saw at an infant school daytrip, also on her head. She had a lump the size of a duck egg and the school never even told me - we found it when she complained of a headache and had to take her to hospital. I remember being a tad annoyed about that one. It didn't compare with the time she was transported by ambulance boat from an island off Chile with something like dysentery though  she said the journey was very rough - in addition to how she was feeling to start with.
We went to see 'State of Play' with Russell Crowe last night, which was excellent :T it was gripping stuff with a real twist in the tale for once. Mind you he is very much 'Maximus' these days - as in needs elasticated waist bands.

Hi everyone.
Let's see if I can get through my post without having a dizzy spell today, shall we.....
Suep I'm glad to hear that dg/s has been bought some reins. Maybe his parents could make a game of him pretending to be a horse, to get him to wear them without fuss? Feel free to tell me to mind my own business, as I know less than zilch about children, but it was an idea that occurred to me.:o I'm sure you'll be replaying the incident in your mind for a while - you've been traumatised, for goodness sake, and your system has to deal with this. Don't be hard on yourself.
CwtA I definitely think you should put in an official complaint - it's bad enough we have to have a truckload of meds, without having to jump through hoops to get what we need. I'm very lucky with the pharmacist at MK Superdrug; they even make sure to have a stock of Moclobemide for me - it's an unusual one that they wouldn't usually carry, but as I'm a regular, they keep it just for me.:o
Unity is the stairlift fixed now? I'm so glad that Mr LW already had a bungalow when I moved in with him!:D
Pcl awww, another trip to the Fang Farrier? You'll be fine; try not to worry.
BZ you're a veritable saint, ferrying MIL2b around like you do. Hope you can have some time for what you want to do today.
Raeh hope you're having a better day today, too.
:hello:to those I haven't mentioned by name. Hope you're all having a peaceful and pain-free day.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
lw, do you often have these dizzy spells? Doc visit to report them? Hugs to you though, they're horrid.
I think someone asked what I thought of Australia DVD. It was OK to watch, but I hadn't read the synopsis, so whilst I was expecting a costume drama type thingy (technical term) it was actually more like a Disney for young adults. Perfectly watchable though - particularly for wotsisname - Hugh Jackman??
Am chasing up landlady again for moving in date, but feeling a bit blah today for no real reason.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
