Well careful, I was at my friends last night having a girlie night in. I brought my laptop (cos I really can't live without it!) and when I was in the kitchen having a fag, they decided to put loads of stupid stuff on my facebook status. During this process they managed to do something that made my computer shut down and I lost all my list of charges and interest so I have to do it all again  I think I know what I can include and can't. I had included all the charges for unpaid D/D S/O and overdraft excess fee's but didn't include overdraft usage fee's or any overdraft interest. Does that sound about right?

I'm meeting the agent tomorrow to give him my application and money  Can't believe it costs so much just to apply for it!

What you making a notice board for? Must have missed that!

raeh, you make me laugh :rotfl: I can't believe you've only been charged once and it wasn't your fault! You sound like my sister! She has lists for everything and a certain bedtime and allsorts anally retentive :rotfl:

bz, did you realise you had the wrong cream before you put it on? :D Poor DF, give him a hug from me.

suep, haha! Glad your feeling better love.

sharon, pleased to hear it's a good day for you but do remember not to overdo it. I think we have all told you that so many times that if you forget then you shall get a ticking off!! Have a fab day tomorrow.

pcl, hope you're having a good day too!

Oh yeah, careful, meant to ask what the film was like? It looked good but always like to get the opinion of someone who's watched it before getting it mesen. Got "The Boy In The Striped Pyjama's" the other day as DD1 said they had been watching it at school and it was really moving. I've attempted to watch it a couple of times but the I'mTrippingOnWindolene knock me out half an hour in! :rotfl:

By the way, does anyone know if you're allowed to drink on them? I've always not taken them if I've had a drink because I've never been sure but I think that might be adding to how long it takes for me to recover iykwim? I don't think it says anything on the leaflet but I've lost it so can't check.

kass allowed to drink on what? amitrip? id say be careful, alcohol will probably increase the sedative effect of them (thats what i was told lofepramine would do and to leave a minimum of two hours between alcohol and pills, but half a glass of champ. and a sip of baily's and i was ill the next day so i ahve never repeated it, and i didnt even sleep better lol). all the bnf (british national formulary) says is effects of alcohol enhanced.

:o I am extremely careful with money, goes back to not having any i spose and making sure i never overspent. we were brought up as well that if you couldnt afford it, you couldnt have it and iv never lost that :o

i dont have a time for bed though :p and im no good with lists as id need a list of what lists id written and id still lose that!!

sharon i hope the weather stays good for tomorrow and you have a lovely time :D

sue i hope that you are feeling much better today and that diamonds wind is improved  kipper is dreadful sometimes and he will let one rip and then look round the room with a disgusted look on his face as if it wasnt him :rotfl:

BZ i hope df is feeling better today and that you didnt tire youself out too much, up and down the stairs to him ;)

:hello: to everyone else, i hope its a nice day there, its dull here but still quite warm which is nice :)

    Yeeeah...I did notice that.... :rolleyes::p

DF is better today after taking the lactulose (sp?) and tea and water and such that was prescribed by pharmacist and me  Still unconvinced he'll be well enough for work on Tuesday though, so I'm glad I made him make a doctor appointment for tomorrow...we'll see. He's still really wiped out and exhausted, but the face swelling is pretty normal now, but the abcess and surrounds is still sore, and he still has the coldsores that came up last week too (on his lip and in his nose (grim!)). It's been nice to have him home with me, but it's been exhausting in it's own right... it worries me as to what looking after any kids would be like... :o Really hoping they'll never be ill!!

I'm knackered too, and I'm not convinced that I'm not more tired because I can't sprawl out properly on the bed all morning sleeping while he's at work...because he's not at work, iyswim! Of course the party and taking niece and nephew to the park yesterday wouldn't've helped...

Have a great time Sharon. Don't worry, I was sorta laughing inside too...when I wasn't rolling my eyes (very secretly) at the way he dealt with pain and discomfort that I suffer on an almost daily basis... But then I have to remind myself that I'm used to it and he's not, and that it's still pain and discomfort. :o Part of me thinks that he's experienced a little bit of a lot of symptoms that I'm used to, and although he's always been sympathetic, I think there is a difference between sympathy and empathy...I really shouldn't be secretly almost pleased that he has a little more awareness of what I deal with though, should I? :o

"talking of my coldsore not healing [well i was i know you all werent] i remember us talking about cuts and sores not healing quickly some time before, but at the moment any sore i get is taking weeks to heal rather than a few days. Like the cold sore, usually 4 or 5 days and they start to heal but this one isnt drying out at all [tmi sorry] and its been 10/11 days? something else to add to the ever growing list for the gp which i know when i get there i will have forgotten and cant remember a thing thats wrong lol"
Raeh - new ish to the forum and I was interested to see you mention about cuts and the such not healing - is this another of the fibro 'other' symptoms we might expect? I have been having trouble just lately with cuts keep going septic and having to get them dressed with iodine at our local walk in centre. I am sure they think I am just a stig who doesnt wash or look after my cuts as I go there so often lol. Together with reaccurent water infections I just thought my body was giving up on me(again!).

Hi everyone else hope you are all well, I overdid it yesterday and paying for it today. Although I am sleeping really well( tramadol induced I think)
    love

Hey BZ nice to know you are back properly on-line :j, sorry to hear both you and Suep are feeling down though and commiserations. I must admit to feeling much the same myself. I think it is because of all the acitvity - first Glasgow and then DD2 + partner here for the weekend and a nice meal last night at our local Thai restaurant. Now they've gone and it's Sunday - a day I always find particularly flat for some reason. Even though DD2 surprised us with tickets to see Eric Clapton in Manchester on Thursday - I'm finding it hard to get up the enthusiasm. I think it comes down to feeling tired and painful. I am usually so much better when the sun is shining but today I just feel low. I'll go back to reading my Mills and Boon 'unmentionables' to take my mind off things ;).and if that gets boring I can always do a few more lines on the crocheted blanket for Suep's Grand-daughter :D, it is coming along fine.

I hope everyone else has a good weekend - what is left of it. I have to watch out for the engineer now as he's coming to fix my stair-lift which has collapsed all of a sudden .

I know two wrongs don't make a right :o, but my *insert expletive of choice here*ing neighbours upstairs have been driving me mad with noise since I got back and I've just happily spent an hour and a half clearing the kitchen with Aerosmith, Foo Fighters and David Bowie up soooooo loud.

    :rotfl:Awesome. LOVing the smilies.

Yellowrock yes, in the same way that I recover about 3 weeks after a normal person (if that!) from an infection or flu etc, it takes a good 3 times as long for cuts etc to heal... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Raeh have you tried Aloe Vera gel on the coldsores? I find it dries up spots overnight...? And should promote the healing process...? I usually dab TCP on spots, then slodge on some Aloe Vera, and it tends to do the trick. It'll do that dry skein over it, and I'm guessing that the lack of air might work well, like the affect on a burn..? Just a thought...

Unity hope you're feeling better again soon. I'm not so much feeling down, anymore, as just wearily tired and lethargic... :o

i havent tried that , thank you. Im willing to try anything at the mo what with the ulcers , coldsores and i appear to be getting acne again on my back and back of my neck??!! im almost elderly !!!!!!.... i shouldnt be worrying about spots :rotfl:

yellowrock, yes i think we all have agreed before [esp the fibro people] that cuts seem to take much longer, like bz said 3 times as long :( also mine always look worse than they are as well?? a paper cut can look like a huge gash after a day or 2? its like the skin streches too far

    good for you :D:D:D

unity i hope you feel better soon, its hard to find the energy to be cheerful sometimes isnt it?

im going to have a proper whinge now so so feel free to skip over this part as im just sounding off to myself really :o:o:o
I realised earlier i cant remember what it feels like to not have pain? everything i do has pain involved to some degree, i know 'normal' people have a pain with some things ie. over doing it when moving furniture or lifting things, but i would love to make a cup of tea without aching arms and my back hurting from standing waiting for the kettle?? my neck hurts whilst i iron [from looking down] and then my arms and back are screaming afterwards. Lots of my friends have said, yes they get an achy back from ironing but its just not the same :o Sat here now, if i thought about it i could list a dozen parts of me that hurt to some degree, some just a niggling ache but others like my wrists and arms i have to keep stopping to hold my arms still to ease the ache for a moment or 2. The little electric shock pains in my legs keep making the laptop jiggle.

ok im done :rotfl:everyone who went to hide behind the sofa can come back out :p

have a good evening everyone :) im going to watch the davinci code and eat chocolate [and complain constantly at the tv that the book was sooo much better ;)]

Yes BZ it took a water infection a month and 3 courses of antibiotics to go! Wish they could find what causes fribro, there must some sort of immune system disfunction in there somewhere!!

Right am off to make Nigella's doughnut bread looked so tasty on tv, sunday night treat for us all

    bye:j
