Bye cwta have a lovely relaxing holiday.
My Ramp came this morning so panic over for that but now I have a new panic, it's a bit wider than my door frame  It's like a thick sheet of metal that curves slightly at the top and should fit inside the door frame, d/h thinking of cutting a groove out of the side bit of frame so it wil slot into place , when he gets his jigsaw cutter thingy back from ds2  it's a good idea and should work, but why does nothing ever go smoothly for us.
More bad news, I woke up with hayfever this morning.
Sharon Im glad the Macmillan nurse was so kind and helpful to you, I think councellings a great idea (((()))) hugsReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Sharon, ((hugs)). I agree with the others re-counselling.
Just popping my head round the door. I did quite a long post the other night and replied to a few things but I don't know where it has gone!!
Off to view a house soon. I've had a grand total of 14 hours sleep since Saturday/Sunday.
Hope everyone is as well as can be today.0 -

(I'm so lazy sometimes!!:rotfl:)
Suep you have my sympathies - I've had hayfever since about februaryIt seems to getting worse the longer I'm ill, whilst I get more immune to antihistamines...:o And the door ramp thingy sounds like just the sort of thing that would happen to me too!
Kass wondered where you'd been...and no idea what happened to your post! Think you've got gremlins in your puter!
It's quiet in here today...feel like I could echo back to myself....:p
I never did go for my pics last night, after DF reappearing, so we had some tea and watched a DVD together instead (The Illusionist if anyone's seen it?)I need to straighten my hair etc today and maybe go down to the booth when DF goes to work#2 at 7pm. Mum's telling me to go to like a max spielman in town and then if you don't like them they'll retake it, but I cba tbh, and I don't have the car and feel like a whopper stood there in their glass fronted shops posing whilst trying to look as unnaturally thin as possible...I ended up looking like a turtle, I stick my chin out so far, to try and minimise the triple chin appearance! :rotfl:
I'm hoping DF and me will go (rather than just talk about it) to Manchester tomorrow. I need to give them the measurements for my dress before they have a heart attack(!) and we could do with going to a jeweller or two about getting my wedding ring made (De Beers won't do it
) and have a mooch and suits&ties. DF is particularly looking forward to it....not!

been out today and got birthday pressies for DD1 for 29th -need to pack them as away this weekend and then hopefully in hospital monday for my operation. Was only out about an hour but am totally wiped out.The increase in my morphine seems to have helped leg and arm pain a lot which is great.think its making me a bit spaced out -need to get used to it.
Strangly though my fibro pains are still there despite all the medications.
really hope everyone has a peaceful weekend and will speak next week.:j this money saving is such fun:T0 -
*sticks head round door and waves* Feeling bleurgh today, so won't do a long post. Just wanted to check in
Hope everyone is having a better day than me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Ooh what did you get her Sharon? Glad the morphine's helping but sucks about the fibro on top. Stupid Fibro just doesn't give up does it!!
LW hope you're not feeling too lame..... (Ba da boom tish!! Geddit??)
Sorry...think I must be trying to make up for Auntie Axe's grim jokes...
I've just booked a hairdressers appt for Tuesday (yay!! no more grey!!) so it'll be done just in time for my bday, and then booked us in to go and give Notice of Marriage on my bday (as DF has booked it off and I think it's a bit tight getting more time off just to go pencil pushing) - but only at 12pm so we get a bit of a lie in. They want us to take passport and bank statement, but neither of our passports are in date! So she said Birth Certificate, so now I'm sincerely hoping we can both find them!! The website information on where you can and can't get married, how and who to give notice to is so confusing!! I was beginning to think that we couldn't get married where we'd booked because we don't live in the area of registration _pale_ (from the info they were giving) but as soon as I rang them she just asked whether it was our normal place of worship, I said yes, she said fine no problem! Phewf!!
Now to find the birth certificates....:think:"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Hi Sharon, just sending you good luck for Monday and hope all goes well. My son got a phone call yesterday to ask if he could go in next week to have his cruciate ligament rebuilt - he only saw the surgeon last month! Anyway reluctantly he had to refuse as his exams start on Monday - but they have provisionally got him down for 11th August.
CWTA Thanks so much for thinking of me for the Kaffe Fassett book. I have his 'Glorious Knitting' book, so if it isn't that one - and also if it isn't too late - I would happily say 'Yes' and send you the money plus postage etc. This is the first time I've logged on since going to the opticians for my new lenses and it is taking a bit of getting used to. I'm very (very) long sighted in both eyes so as regards specs I need both distance and reading specs. He advised against varifocals because my prescription means that my peripheral vision would be very blurred and he knows the problems I have with the cervical spondylosis. He said I would have to move my head a lot more if I got them - so now I have my left and dominant eye for distance and a far stronger lens in my right eye for reading.
Good News!!! Mr Unity had his appointment to see the chest surgeon this morning as he has pleural placques from secondary exposure to asbestos. His dad was a foreman lagger in the shipyards and Mr U used to wait in the warehouse every week to go out on the fishing boat owned by the company. Anyway he has been given the 'All Clear' there's no sign of any change and they are very insignificant.
S/E I went to Kemps wool shop on the way home http://www.kempswoolshop.com/?gclid=CMm_-ImYkJMCFQZOMAodJGu_Yg but just to pick up an additional ball of the Rowan DK Cotton they have at £1.39 a ball, to finish off the cardi from this month's 'Let's Knit ' magazine. They didn't seem to have a great deal in this time, although I did get a crochet pattern for a baby jumper (Shssssh don't tell Suep).
Hope you all have a good weekend :j.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Well, I've had half an hour's kip, and feel marginally better. Mr LW has just phoned me (as he does twice a day to check that I'm still alive!) and he's volunteered to make us dins tonight.
Sharon very best of luck for Monday, will be keeping everything crossed for you.
BZ thanks for the lame joke.... I think LOLIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
