    Afternoon all.

Not sure what time Sharon is due at the hospital, but keeping everything crossed.

BZ I agree, sounds like mil2b is suffering depression, and really needs some help from her gp.

Raeh I'll get in an extra bottle of vodka, ready for the celebration when new neice/nephew arrives.

Sue did you get the ramp all sorted out in the end?

I've forgotten what else I was going to reply to, so :hello:everyone else.

Didn't get much sleep last night. Don't know why, just couldn't seem to drop off - still lying there staring at the ceiling at 3:30. Result - I'm like a wet dishrag today. Supposed to be attending a CAMRA branch meeting this evening, and I cannot raise any enthusiasm whatsoever. We've missed the last several, so we ought to try and put in an appearance.

Ah thanks for taking the time and trouble Seaside. I meant to ask if you got the PM I sent you and hope it was okay :o.

Suep my e-mail is half-written and saved in drafts :o I will get it finished this PM.

Sorry this is of necessity short. Would you believe it - the blisters are back again . This is the third time ! I can't take the aciclovir again because I just finished a course on Wednesday. I had a really good day on Saturday, told DS I was feeling the best I had been in a long time - then yesterday I woke with them and this time they are in my mouth as well . I went to the open surgery this a.m., I was there at 7.40 (they open at 8) and still second in the queue . The swab results aren't back, nothing showed in the bloods. I have had to agree to Carbamazepine to help with the pain but at least it's also one of the things used for epilepsy which might be something else on the cards. GP says my immune system is shot - despite me taking a whole load of supplements including multi-vit and multi-minerals.

No sleep last night so off for a nap now and hope to sign on later in the week.

    Love,
    U

    Gentle (((HUG))) for you.

  • seaside, thnks for the update on Sharon. Will hold her in my thoughts.
Unity, sounds like you're having a horrid time with this at the moment. I do hope things improve soon.
BZ, I do think a trip to the Docs with your MIL2B is a good idea. You may be able to stop this downward spiral before it gets too bad.
Sue, hope you get the threshhold ramp sorted - what a nuisance.
Hugs to anyone else I haven't mentioned in particular - doesn't mean I haven't forgotten you!
Weather has been very mixed here today although I sat by the beach in a shletered spot for a while late this morning and managed to nod off much to my chagrin when I eventually awoke. Sister left this morning and I managed not to do her any bodily harm while she was here, so I count that a success!
Am off to do a bit of a walk round the coast to some art galleries for a nose this afternoon and am kitted up in waterproofs against the showers.
Luckily, it's not cold at all really which means you can resign yourself to the rain - tis only water after all.
I may have to treat myself to a cream tea this afternoon as after a huge dinner last night, I skipped brekkie and lunch.
    Hugs to all.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Hi folks, thanks for all the support. You're a fantastic bunch. No option for time off work for a little while, but I've 3 weeks at the end of May so I'm holding on for that.

And, well, if DLA want a fight (rolls up sleeves) they've got one. Just because I'm determined to keep living my life doesn't mean I don't need help. And, since the medics have left me to find my own way of muddling through, they can't blame me for not have consultant reports. I'm seeing the CAB advisor tomorrow and I'm going to sit down tonight and compose a letter for the reconsideration saying exactly why the decision is wrong. This p##### me off. I pay taxes, I work hard, I'm a 'good citizen'. I'm honest to a fault. I deserve support. So I'm going to fight for it.

Hope folks have a good evening and at least 8 hours sleep!

I forgot to mention the threshold ramp didnt I, Im still waiting for ds2 to bring round his circular saw and take a bit off the side so it fits properly but in the meantime dh has made me one for nothing from a flat bit of metal and an old wooden shelf he found in the garage. I didnt think it would work, but tested it a few times over the weekend, I took Diamond out for a walk by myself on Saturday when dh went to Brighton for a gig and took g/s to the park down the road yesterday. Why couldn't he have done that before I spent loads of money on the real one

Seaside Thanks for the update on Sharon
Unity Not again  Im so sorry for you, do you want me to send you some distant healing with the Reiki ? Isn't it just typical when you say something like that though. I wish I could offer you some great advice that would help, apart from eat loads of fresh fruit and veg, drink loads of water and REST but I cant so I'll have to be a nag ;) Hope your ok for Beltane.
cwta hope the weather stays ok and that you are resting lots too, I really am turning into a nag aren't I :o
