I've found a house but just need to find the money for it! I'm going to go to the CAB tomorrow. There must be some pots of money I can tap into for a loan/grant. I'm sure I can fit into a few boxes. Disablitiy/fleeing violence/single parent, whatever box they want to put me in

I had a right nightmare yesterday trying to put in a claim for ESA. Six phonecalls later and I can't do it over the phone, I have to wait for the forms. They told me to apply for a crisis loan until it gets sorted but I'm hoping to scrape by then when it comes through I can put that towards the house. I know it's only a measly amount but every little helps I suppose.

I do remember now something about a baby. My mind has just been so all over the place lately. We may have some news later then. :D

    Mawnin' all.

Jo go girl, you tell 'em! I'm glad you're rolling your sleeves up for a fight - I'm sure they refuse people on principle, just to try and save themselves paying out.

Seaside thanks for the update on Sharon; hopefully she'll feel a little better after all this. Hope you're not so hurty today, also.

PCL I'd be worried about electronic things coming through the post with no clue as to where it came from. Is it for the pc? Be careful, in case it's malware. (Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me).

Raeh hope all goes well for your sis.

Unity hope you're having a better day today.

Suep it's lovely to be able to take the woofer out on your own isn't it? I love having Molly to stay, cos I can get the scooter out and take her tennis ball to throw. Bet Diamond had a great time.

Kass very best of luck, getting yourself sorted with a place to live. Fingers crossed for you.

hope you're enjoying some better weather.

BZ just a thought - might be an idea to practise your new signature a bit before the wedding - I found it very funny to be signing a new name, and was glad I'd practised beforehand and found a "style" of signing that suited me. I'll explain - previously, my signature had just been my initial and last name, but when I married Mr LW, I found it "flowed" better off the pen if I sign my full name. Hope mil2b isn't sending you too crazy.

S/e you ok? Not seen you around lately.

    :hello:to those I've missed.

Whinge alert - feel free to skip this bit.
I think I've sussed why I get to unbearably tired after an evening out - I'm so flippin nervous round other people, that I'm tense the whole time, and also bluffing like mad so as to not look tense and nervous. I dunno how to get round this, short of becoming a total hermit. It's getting me down big time, and makes any social occasion a trial of endurance, and I physically hurt like hell the next day, just because I'm so tense. I'm supposed to be attending the local Beltane do on Saturday, have to bake something to take along, and I'm about 2 inches away from chickening out of going completely.

Following up your post with another whiny. Hate this. Been so tired and painful and depressed I can't get anything done, and if I take the Lyrica I sleep 2/3rds of every day and can't be doing with THAT either. That and the weight it has put on me means that Primark doesn't stock bras big enough for me anymore :(

Hate, hate, HATE fibro. and I'm too tired even to swear about it.

    It is. *sigh* Ditto. Thanks.

Only managed to sleep three hours last night and couldn't go back to sleep after waking up, which I suspect has a lot to do with it. I ought to be going out to the post office today, but I don't think I'll be in any fit state to walk half a mile before it closes, and forget getting back. UGH.

  • lw yeah thats my worry too, it is sealed but that doesnt necessarily mean anything, and yep pc cdrom. i will probably dump it in my spare rooma nd forgte about it then find it and forget i have no clue where it came form one day and play it only to destroy my puter. hiding the fact your tense and anxious is as exhausting as being tense and anxious. i wish i had found a solution to share.

tri sorry your feeling so rubbish today too, wheres the magic wand when everyone needs it?
