EDIT: CwtA please stay away from sharp objects.

The way I am at the moment, I think I should stay away from blunt ones too. :o

Ouch cwta that sounds nasty, poor you, it made me feel sick just reading about it. We will have to change your name to 'Careful with that blender ' :D

LW I get that sometime, but its more a case of 'Ive got nothing interesting to say, they must all think Im dumb/boring etc. I dont know where it comes from but I think its all part of depression. Im pretty low at the moment and I phoned my Mum for a chat yesterday, she asked me how I was and when I said not good she said 'dont tell me, Im having a good day and dont want you bringing me down' I was gobsmacked, she is well known for being tactless, but that really took the biscuit. Luckily I have a good friend who is more supportive than my family ( thanks again Unity)

Saffie :grouphug: can I join in too.

BZ I love Ikea but havn't been to one for years as the nearest one is in Croyden which is too far away since my sister moved back down South from London 7 years ago. Good news though, Southampton is getting anew one, it opens on the 12th Feb, I will keep away for a while though as it will be packed for a while, but I cant wait to go.

    I hope everyone is ok

    :rotfl: Thank you :D

TBH (to be honest) I've been pretty down the last week or so, but am luckily coming out of it. I suspect it was brought on by the lack of anti-d's for 36 hours! And here was me hoping I could cut the dose slightly. Stop me if I've said this before.

Came back from causality to a box of handmade choccies from the aunt and cousins in America that I'm going to stay with in the summer. As I get very little validation and support from family in UK, it meant such a lot to me.

LW, when the dog comes calling, wave those bricks at him!

raeh, I do hope tomorrow goes OK for you. How long do you have to wait for Ofsted's report?

Suep, good grief - your Mum doesn't mince words! Did you metaphorically wallop her? :D

My brain is now grinding to a halt and I'm sure I've missed something and someone out, so apologies.

Hugs to all - particularly those that are having a tough time.

Sharon I have PM'd you - I can't believe it, but of course you're in my thoughts and healing vibes are coming your way. You have been such a great help to me and my friend after she discovered her cancer with your cheerful PM's. Needless to say it's my turn to repay the favour now.

Sharon you're probably in the hospital by now, but I'm sending good thoughts your way, and hoping that all goes as well as possible.

Suep I'm sorry your family aren't as supportive as they could be. I do understand though - I'm completely estranged from mine, they don't even know where I live. Still, I always reckon that friends are the family you choose for yourself.

CwtA you're right - 36 hours without your anti-d's will have had quite an effect. I hope your poor paw is feeling better today. Do you have to go back to the hospital to get it looked at again?
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • im saying my prayers for you sharon. i think its so great to have so much love and support on here from people that we dont realy know yet feel like we are all so close.:o a ggreat big hug for you lovie. i dont wana moan today now.xxxxxxxxxxx
