    Hi all

Firstly thank you for the welcomes, it is nice to have somewhere to have a whinge with people who understand your situation and a laugh aswell.

SHARON59 I know it is stupid worrying about having to explian to people and wondering what they think. I was asked the other day at work by a collegue why I get to park in a disabled bay and explained HR had allowed it due to pain in hip and leg (she knows about it and knows I go to pain clinic) she turned round and said I might try that as if I was taking p**s out of company, I now keep my head down if anyone goes past when I get out of the car (stupid I know)

SUEP They have given me various names of what the condiition could be, Sacrolliac was mentioned as it was enlarged on one scan but got told that it could be causing the pain I have  also meralgia paresthatica and a couple of others that are some where in the back of my brain but won't come out. The injection I mentioned last night was an epidurial thing, don't want to go through that again (not the injection spending 2 days at parents :rotfl:)

Had a very lazy day today only got about 4 hours sleep last night so not in mood to do anything, luckily weather isn't good so don't feel to down about not going out.

Supposed to be booking theatre tickets for 2 outings but can't be bothered today, hopefully be in better mood tomorrow and will get things sorted.

Snow has started falling and left a light covering, lamb is nearly cooked, heating on, find something good on telly and that's me for the night.

Everyone take care and speak soon xx

hi everyone and welcome to meemee :hello:
What she said...twice :D (Sorry meemee I forgot in last post)
has anyone received this quarter's gas / lecky bills?
Nope, not yet...getting a bit scared! I need to ring up for the final bills for the old house and then I'll finally be getting bills (from as yet unknown supplier) for the new house...and I've had the heating on full pretty much all the time as well as the gas fire, cos it's so cold and the heating's not working properly!

Raeh, I know what you mean about heading for a flare up... I've had more nose sores in the last weeks/coupla months ...they're really annoying me. TMI is that I can taste that irony blood taste when I blow my nose! :o

Suep I knew what you mean about the Epidural - I was right there with you! :D

Cwta I hope you get some lovely peace...about a week of it? So you can really catch up on your sleep. Hope it doesn't affect your mood or health too much :o

Can't remember what else I was gonna say...

Thanks raeh, I love the spoons thing. I haven't used it on anyone though yet. Mmmmmm, chocolate fudge cake. I'd love to know how to make that. Could you send me the recipe?

As for the sympathy thing yes idkwym (hee hee), it's annoying isn't it cos you don't want pity and you don't want to be that person who just moans all the time so you get on with it but then they seem to think you have made a miraculous recovery and expect things that they really shouldn't.

    Ok what is tmi????

We had a wee bit of snow earlier, I'm not worried though, I've had worse dandruff!!

    xxxx
    id love some si:o mpathy..

Hi all A big thank you for cheering me up, as i sometimes think i must be going mad with all the different pains etc. The cold weather is diffently not helping, but i hate to keep going on about i feel when someone asks how i am. As i do not want to be classed as a whinger. My standard reply to pople now is me just being me!!! Luckly i have very good friends and workmates who know without having to ask how i am.:j
meemee75 I know how you feel, I wish that i could have a big sign on my head to say yes i know i look healthy but i am not. I have a allocated disabled space at work too and the looks i get well thats another story!!!:rotfl:I am not entitled to a blue badge. As my councellor says for all other people know i may have a serious heart condition and not to take any notice. So i now adopt my normal face mask of a smile and a positive manner.
The other day i felt i had been handed apot of gold as i discovered that someone i work also has the same condition and she has had it since being a child. So I now have someone to natter to!

    Take care all.
trying to do better in 2012! :j
£20 so far saved for Xmas 2012:T
£8 so far from clothes taken to recycling buyer:T
    £10.75 from moneyback coupons.:j
Plus spent £25 on 2012 christmas presents which should of cost £50:j
  • Hello to all the newbies I missed. :hello:

BZ, I do hope your Sister is gentle with you. Or that you're gentle with her *grin*. Put her to her to work unpacking the house and that should sort her out.
What did you get at IKEA and Focus, and more importantly, what pressie did you get me? :D
Are you at the gp next week?

Whoever said about the losing balance - tell me about it. I was at the docs last week and when she asked me to step on the scales (about half an inch high) she almost had to catch me as I was about to fall over. Hadn't even touched the strong stuff. Luckily she's a complete star and we both just laughed.

Found another sofa (that I don't need) on Saturday reduced from £1400 to £449. It was lully! Measured it fully and it won't go through the door into the living room. Pooh

We have no snow forecast for the coming week, so if someone would send me some I would be grateful. Too kind :D
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

couldnt have put it better myself :T

saffie i have a lot of trouble with blurred vision at times, iv had my eyes tested loads of times and they just say its floaters  i have slight torticollis and that makes me feel unbalanced more and more as time goes on, well i never know if its that or my spine or any of the other million things i could complain about :rotfl:

mypet thats the hardest part looking healthy isnt it

bz i know just what you mean with the taste when you blow your nose :(
enjoy your time with your sister ;) get her helping round the house

If the people currently around you are not helping, then what are they doing in your life? Does that make sense...?
i was actually thinking about this earlier as my friend and neighbour is really draining me at the moment as its always about her problems, she never thinks to ask about me and if she does she tells me how shes worse  [remember the chapped lips ladies ;)] so iv decided to be polite but say i havent time to listen when she starts as i havent any spoons spare for that at the mo ;)
bushbaby i darent even think about the gas and leccy bills  we pay DD so i spose we will catch up through summer

I've sent some your way Saffie :)
I have the same probs with my hips. They go out every so often...like they're dislocating. Nasty. My knees suddenly give me shooting agony sometimes when I'm getting up from chairs etc, that does not go down well with me! Feels like something snapped from under my knee cap or something, it's horrid.
Oh and ditto with the eyes too and the balance. All related, somehow, apparently...

That was what I was gonna say before: Good luck with OFSTED Raeh, my mum's been through loads of those and hates em, so I can empathise!
Perhaps it is time to be more vocal with your neighbour/friend/chapped-lip-woman. She does sound like a drain, to say the least.

Cwta I got a small bathmat, wok (only £2something!), pebbles (for a feature bowl OH wanted ) and a towel hook rail thing that you just hook onto the top of the door - which is ace cos it means we're not damaging/marking the rented house doors :j It was doing my head in having towels out in random places. I've not got a banister to hang em on either, so it was a necessary purchase! We only spent about £12 so not too bad, considering I could spend a fortune in Ikea!
Focus was unproductive, they had nothing in I fancied. I want some bins for the bathrooms and we wanted to see what wardrobes they had but they didn't have much on display... Gonna try freecycle now they've finally let me sign up...

Snows started to lay but there's only a couple of mms. Nothin to write home about and I reckon it'll be gone tomorrow...(hopefully)
