Possibly not. According to the 'report bugs' page, when we came back yesterday the 'quote' and 'thanks' buttons had changed places. I meant to quote pcl yesterday, and ended up thanking her instead.

Glad you said us not you, lol. You're such a creep for the "misjudged my aim" comment though...you so meant to thank me! :D:p
Hush up ... it was all going ok on the creeping back into favour front til you spoilt it!! :p

Wheres the sun gone then?? i have arranged for my vaccuum cleaner to be collected today [not such a grab it now bargain as its only lasted since january ] for them to check why the brushes wont turn and thought it would be a good idea since i had to wait in for parcels anyway. Trouble is the parcels arrived at half 9 so now i have to wait in anyway and that means facing the mountain of ironing

I've cleaned the conservatory windows inside and out and thought it would be in my best interest [pacing myself you know] to have a little rest and check in here before starting anything else ;)

Hope everyone is doing ok today :D i expect its business as usual for most of you but for me its THE HOLIDAYS!!! :p

I stupidly got carried away cleaning the kitchen this morning and decided to clean the oven  when my right arm started hurting from scrubbing it I used my left arm, so now both arms from the shoulders down to my hands ache like hell, I can hardly lift my mug of tea :(, normally with pain I'd use my tens or heat pads, but it's a bit awkward with arm pain.
Im going to have to look for a new house fairy as my dil used to do it, but she's so ill with morning sickness and having to run around after a toddler when shes pregnant that she's had to stop.

In the interest of pacing yourself, Raeh, maybe you could sit and have a little rest whilst allowing your fingers to take a little walk to the phone and dial the GPs for an appointment...? You did promise, after all... :D

And on the first day of your holidays you're supposed to sleep til after noon.... :naughty:do I even need to teach you the basics?? :wall:;)

The connection is tenuous, at best, this morning (to el dodgio connectivio :shhh:) but I'm only up cos I had my dearest nephew ring me at obscene o'clock (11am :silenced: ) shouting "time to get up! time to get up! time to get up!"....dear child. It was at his mother's behest as she is venturing over here to see me. Think we're going for lunch at one of her favourite pubs, a Harvester in town, (not that I normally eat lunch...but then I don't normally have my eyes open at lunch time either ;)) so we'll see how that goes. I thought I'd double booked again for today, last night, as my sister rang to remind me (as requested, and good job she did!) that she was coming over here today to see me and then about 10mins later my phone reminder alarm went off to remind me I had an appt at 2.45pm! Good job she has to be back home at 3pm or I'd be in a pickle :o

I'm still full of my cold and sinusitis and my tonsils are feeling a little jealous and getting in on the action too now... I've made an appt for Wed afternoon (hint hint Raeh ;)) but my antibiotics finish today. Tbh, I cannot be bothered to go through the rigmarole with the receptionist about whether he will or won't (he will :D) give me antibiotics without seeing me, so I'll just wait and suffer the consequences. The ones I'm on now, apart from not playing complete havoc with my IBS like the last ones, don't seem to be doing much helpful anyway...? My tongue was really sore, mainly down one side and mainly underneath, yesterday from when I woke up, so I took my tongue bar out (yes it's pierced ) for the day. It felt like that trapped hair feeling Kass was talking about in her neck (when there was no trapped hair)...but in my tongue, iyswim? It's not not particularly right now, but better than yesterday morning - it was swollen up and a different colour (according to DF). I have a sneaking suspicion that that, combined with the stupid red swollen tonsils, does not bode well...

Awww Suep I know that feeling all to well. Hope it passes soon and you can bear to lift your mug o' char and cope with typing to us for a bit ;) Good luck with the house fairy too. :)

Wot she said. Twice. Oh, all right then - three times. ;)

Thank you zippy for reminding me that I need to put in a repeat request. I keep thinking about it when I'm away from my pooter, then promptly forgetting about it again. I shall do it now then I should have painkillers (hah!) for over the Easter weekend.

Don't forget folks - we've got a long weekend coming up at the end of this week. Lots of people will be wanting to get away early on Thursday and won't be coming back 'til Tuesday next week, so don't leave anything important 'til later on this week.

sue hope the arms recover soon. get working on that house fairy.

bz hope lunch was fun, get up phone calls work much much better than alarm clocks i find.
  • bz, I think you should get thyself to the docs sooner rather than later if there's a possibility that the infection in sinuses is spreading. Or is it possibly Thrush from the antiflybotics?
I think after nearly 2 courses of tablets, it's a more important thing than for a Wedmesday appointment. Although I know full well I'm talking to myself and you are sitting there with your fingers in your ears going "la, la, la, la."
Pierced tongue??!! Tart *g* :p p.s. I've heard that the piercing can close up in a matter of a day without the bar in.

suep, when you overdo things you do it with style!! Cleaning the oven? *faints*
Hope you feel better soon and that you can still manage to hold a book to read. Do you know anyone who has a House Fairy you could pinch for a few hours a week? I've always found word of mouth invaluable in looking for help.

    raeh, raeh, raeh. *sigh*
I'm gonna send you a dictionary and highlight the words "resting", "holiday" "pacing (yourself)", "relaxing" etc. If you don't phone that doc soon, I shall track you down and drag you there by your oh, so shiny hair. You know I mean it :D

s/e, thanks for the reminder - repeat script just ordered. It had penetrated my consciousness that Easter was coming, but not the consequences. Hope your knitting endeavour is going OK. Ribbit ;)

pcl, I think cat will be Ok with fishies. It's a tank in the shape of a globe, quite heavy and with a smallish abperture at the top, so it should be quite safe.

While I've got my worry head on, I had loads of anxiety dreams last night concluding in me waking myself up yelling :o I neglected to take Ami last time, which dodn't help I'm sure.
Have been getting very restless in the evenings, so have decided to drag out cross stitch or something, so I can occupy myself a bit better and hopefully take the edge off.

I know it's my worry head, but I'm a little concerned about ex-MIL/DIL as they're in Rome for their Golden Wedding Anniversary and the Earthquake was only 60 miles away. I'll relax better when I can get hold of them just to know that they are OK, rather than just being fairly sure they are.

    Hugs to all

House Fairy is here later so I must get on whether I feel like it or not.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Wow, you lot have been busy!!

Trialia, I'm sorry you feel ignored. I read through and mean to reply but just can't hold the info for long enough. Next time just SHOUT so we can hear you :D

Like the idea of the e-mail thing.

I'm a poorly girl today. All my own fault as usual. Was me birthday at the weekend and I decided I wasn't going to let the occassion pass with dignity so had far too much alcohol. I stayed out too late and decided to join in playfighting (yes, I know how old I am!) with my mates.

Result = body feels bruised all over and my immune system is hiding somewhere.

I'd swear I had tonsilitus had I any tonsils!!!

Someone asked about my baby's name. Well the kids want to call him Sean Bennison (don't ask ) but I want to call him Charlie. My mate said I should tell them that his mummy had already named him Charlie. Am I really cruel if I do? :o

Sorry bz, I keep confusing you don't I :rotfl:

Right, I'm off to go rock in a corner ;)
