  • I just don't get Facebook or the point of it. I did have fun on Twitter for a while though.
Have been meaning to say Vaseline (or Savlon) for the sores at the edge of your mouth. Helps you stop licking them, them cracking and soothes them - just don't use Ralgex by mistake :o

My Gramps used to say Savlon was good for "spots, colds, sore holes and pimples on the belly" and it's still referred to like that in the family :D

I do have a fb, so does Kass. Think it was suep that mentioned it last though. And tbh Raeh, I don't know about fb being confusing - but that sentence you put certainly was!! One this and one that and one for this one. I was baffled! :rotfl:

:osorry i babble on like that in RL and expect people to keep up! i meant i have 2 accounts, one that is me ith photos and whatnot and another one that i just have mse people added to but no details or photos? that one is just to play lush on really. The thing i find confusing is all the things people send and you are [supposed] to add  i dont have time for all that with my competitions :rotfl:

Yay we're back :j I must admit I did get a bit bored last night and went to bed early with my book, I missed you all :D

cwta My Mum had an aquarium for years, so I can. always ask her if you have any problems. I've thought about having one myself a few times as I love watching fish, its so relaxing, a few things put me off though, cleaning the tank out for 1 think and dealing with the dead fish is the other. I have a friend who has fish in a cold water tank, when one died a while back she decided she wanted to bury it but as she lives in a flat she couldnt decide where to bury it, so she put it in a plastic pot in her freezer for a couple of weeks while she made her mind up :rotfl:

No I dont get fb either, I dont think my kids would be too happy if I went on it anyway, it's their domain, not for Mums ;)

My dad's made an account and I've refused to add him. How can I moan about himon statuses or whatnot if I've got to worry that he'll see it??

I'd wink, but I actually mean it :D

  • sharon, I love sunflowers. They don't last long when cut but are lovely in the garden.
I hope you do rest a bit. Seems like you're already purring the increased morphine to test. *g*
lw, I hope you feel better soon. You too, unity.
I'm putting the rest of you on ignore. *g*

thanks for that, im always suffering :( i have a snotty cold which appeared suddenly friday night, i think it was my bodies reaction to finishing work and actually relaxing properly  and i have the sore in the corners of my mouth immediately with it and the ulcers are bound to follow as they always do!
Rae, have you tried using Blistex? (used to be called blisteze). I've been fortunate in that I've never suffered from cold sores - but it's bluddy brilliant on sore, cracked lips and is supposed to be used for cold sores as well.
