  • s/e, there's no letting agent, I pay rent direct into their bank account. I suppose what I'm worried about (as the landlord is so slap dash - I haven't had a curtain pole in living room for nearly 2 years, front door is actually an internal door etc) that they'll try to blame me somehow for ir even though I've done nothing wrong.
They can hardly blame you if they've not been sending you the bills.

  • I just don't get Facebook or the point of it.
I won't do Facebook. Have you guys read their terms and conditions? Sorry, but anyone who reserves the right to sell on my details to a 3rd party whenever the mood takes them gets none of my details.

Also - are you all aware that should you at some point decide to unsubscribe from FB, all your details remain with them? Nothing gets removed from their database.

Sorry if that's teaching anyone to suck eggs, but it's amazing the number of people who'll gaily click 'I agree' without having the faintest idea what they're agreeing to.

i had fb for a while, then had to delete my profile and set it to spam in my email. not that i ever got it anyway. i more thna likely didnt read the terms and conditions though, i can rarely be bothered, but also wont have given all my details.

vaseline for lips, i smear it on after every time i brush my teeth and havent had sore, chapped lips since. a smear or two extra during the day if they are feeling dry or im wanting to lick them all the time. it is a great barrier too so helps keep moisture in.

hope evryone who isnt feeling great feels better (enough) soon.

I never said I worried in a rational way :o:p
Just having got it off my chest on here has helped me.

I'm off to the Scillys again on 24th for a week - yippee! It's a treat from Dad as he knows what good it does me. :j
The only downside is Sister is coming with me for first 4 days and we're sharing the room.
Thank goodness I an access the internet from there! ;)

Sue, I agree - aquariums are really lovely and relaxing to watch. Not so much so for the cat I suspect though *g*
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

I was wondering how wise it might be to have a fish bowl and a cat...;)

I'm cold. And annoyed. And frustrated. And lazy. And sore. And bunged up (in my snoz before anyone starts ).

I've ditched the archaic expensive doorstop as I'd tried too many times for patience and sanity to remain to print on this flipping card size. Plus, when I did manage to get it to go through the print quality wasn't as good as I wanted (blue speckles in red ink rather than purple ) and I could see the tracks of the rollers (not my tears, stop singing in the back there :p). I had convinced myself, via the wonders of the internet, that the printer DF bought was for a good price for a not bad home All-in-One wireless... so I unpacked it and set it up. Can I get it to work wirelessly? Um, no. I can get it to print on the card with no trouble as it allows custom paper sizes... but I can't get Word to accept that you can fold any sized page in two and have, effectively, two pages. My designer friend bagged me out for even daring to use Word, and granted it wouldn't be my first choice, but you use what you have to hand dontcha? Have resurrected Adobe Photoshop to see if I can deal with that better, but it's soooo long since I've used it properly (I did Design Studies back in the day) that it would probably take longer to work it out again than I have patience left.... Might set DF on the task instead ;)

my whitney used to sit for hours just watching the fish every time she could sneak into my housemates room. never tried to catch them after she explored and decided there was no way to get them.

too much cleaning them out involved for me, i just like to watch other peoples aquariums.

    sleep well everyone.

Rae, have you tried using Blistex? (used to be called blisteze). I've been fortunate in that I've never suffered from cold sores - but it's bluddy brilliant on sore, cracked lips and is supposed to be used for cold sores as well.
thank you :) yeah i use blistex [still call it blisteze ] i suffer from coldsores and its not much use for those when they hit but great for sore lips, these sores at the sides are tougher to treat though!

to the people who said fish tanks are hard to clean out, well you shouldnt really need to do much more than a slight water change and change/clean the filters? and my kittys are fine with them lol sammy sits up on tops as the lights anfd heater keep it warm :rotfl:

auntie axe have a lovely week away :) *said in a 'very sorry for being cheeky and will you forgive us' way*
