I hear what you are saying Di and i know about some of your troubles as you posted on here but surely where the money one is concerned this could have been eased a long time ago:confused:. Then there is more time for your other concerns.

I don't come on here quite a much these last few months (although the last few weeks i must admit I have) because of other troubles too. Its no good moaning about things we can do something about as my dad would have said. Your complaints will be dealt with long before mine Di as i have been told up to a year still so at least you can ease some of your troubles. Also these reclaim complaints are actually getting harder now with this new thing about complaints handling and they can look into this now whereby "would you have had any insurance???" and then take away a certain amount from the claim and this is coming in in Jan. I would certainly get on with them.

Almost ready to go, will post them tomorrow because of the postal strike's and that is that, all done.

Am hoping to hear about at least the one from the FOS anytime now, that one is hubby's, and hopefully the others will follow on, the ones already with them, fingers crossed.
I agree though, I did slack at the most priority time of my life.:o
Thinking some issues would have been resolved by now, but yes all these changes on the way as well.

  • Our policy was increased this year and we maintained it for a couple of months. We then decided to shop around and found this cheaper so we cancelled out original policy.

Will we still be eligible to receive the increased amount back or not?

Hi We have today go a final response from egg they say they will not uphold our ppi misold claim on credit card because the card was taken out on line in 2000 (was still using it untill earlier this year) they sent me print screen of the application with the box saying ppi. they say if i had opted out it would have said none. also they were not regulated by fsa then and it is beyond the 6 year point. all these things. My grounds for miss selling in the first place was that i was working partime in eduction so I had a good benifite package. they say i can go to the ombudsman. does anyone think there is any point in doing this.
you're only wasting the cost of a stamp !!!

    Your right Marshallka.

Originally my sister was going to go through it all with me and help me out here, but she became ill, then I was stupid really to push them aside, maybe if I had got on with them when I should have done then it wouldn't be so bad as its been.
I don't know if I have been coming or going with them all over the place......:o, but yep your right, thanks hun.
Sometimes I do need a good kick up the you know what with my stuff.......:o lol.:D;)Xx

Hi yes it is exactly the same terms etc as the previous one minus the PPI I phoned them and eventually got thru and they explained the procedure - duh  felt a right tube!

Yeah Di am fine not been on much lately as not had much to report. The payments I have received are sitting nicely in the savings account until xmas time.

We got the payment from Blackhorse too.
Got a letter from GE saying they didnt mis-sell so its off to the FOS now so just waiting for news on that one.

FP still dragging their heels or should I say FOS dragging their heels still not got an adjudicator and they said September.....:confused: I emailed again to be told the same thing they are extremelybusy at themo and they will get an adjudicator to me asap.

And now with the impending postal strike even if we do get something back how long is it going 2take?

One of my clients returned withdrawal forms today that were signed by his co-executor on 16th September which just arrived yesterday - crazy - can they not just give them a bloody pay rise?
hi there, i phoned fos about my claim with fp and was told it was waiting for an adjudicator, that was on a monday then on the friday of the same week i recieved my upheld claim from the adjudicator!!! so dont despair yet, and good luck

Already have a few of them in with the FOS already the one since 2008 and just waiting to hear now from FSCS, fingers crossed.:j:j

Well if they are now all done and dusted then you should be OK in a short time money wise. I know its not nice dealing with finances but if you are in such financial hell you HAVE to. I don't mean to be funny here Di but you would always tell anyone on here the same. Like i said in my other post I just wish we (and i bet others on here too:confused:) had more to go at for the PPI but we don't. Your one at the FSCS is just waiting now and has been a long time and the ones with FOS have actually been adjudicated too so they have not actually been waiting since 2008 have they but I would think if they upheld them and they are waiting for the ombudsmans decision then you could fast track those too it does seems a long time for this to then go to the Ombudsman. If you are entitled to fast track it also means fast track with those that are waiting for the Ombudsman as I thought:confused:?. I bet you will be quids in and hopefully they will all be done and dusted by Christmas:T ALso you hubby is starting work again soon so that again means your money troubles should ease.

. I have contacted FOS about mine every week and am getting really fed up as we have no way of moving this forward and I want to sort something out with the house desperately. I realise our problems are little compared to yours but I would love for ours to dealt with quickly.

    Thanks Marshallka.;)

Yes have been getting everything together, this can be sent to the FOS this afternoon in regards of the Hamilton/HFC etc. The others are done now, hubby posted this morning.

The one that have been with the FOS since 2008 is hubby's, the one that was ignored, and it was when it was waiting to be passed on to the ombudsman, it was then they said it could be fast tracked, but at least its with them, and even though he have not heard anything further yet, I don't expect he will be waiting that long now. This is the one where they were looking into wider issues.

We have asked for them all to be fast tracked again, so fingers crossed, as we also realise there are others still in a worse situation that us that are actually facing repossession etc, so we are grateful if they will end up fast tracking again.

I hope you hear soon as well Marshallka, it could be a case that I will have some messing with that one again but at least to have it sent back in for a new complaint I am grateful for that.

  • Just successfully won back all the ppi paid on a personal loan (with 8% interest) - £1300. HSBC have stopped selling "old style" ppi and are now offering income protection that can be used as a single policy to cover all of a customers loans/cards etc including non-HSBC. Got a meeting arranged to see the branch specialist. Is this an admission that ppi was generally mis-sold?
