    Right Di, got it now

You sent your complaint to Endeavour for the rebate of your PPI but Endeavour were your lender. Now can you remember that Endeavour got back and stated they were NOT under FOS jurisdiction until 2007. We always found this strange but Endeavour were actually appointed representatives of

    Pinnacle Insurance PLC 110866 14/02/06 to 30/09/2008
Hamilton Insurance Company Limited 202671 23/10/06 to 01/11/2007
Hamilton Life assurance Company Limited 139618 14/01/05 to 31/10/07
    HFC Bank Limited 204483 31/10/2004 to 7/12/2004
    HFC Bank Limited 204483 01/11/07

Now what date was your loan with Click taken out as if FOS are accepting against the lender now (like with Click and FP above) then you should be able to resubmit and them accept against whoever was the actual PRINCIPALS of Endeavour at the time of your loan.

    EDIT

Just found it was actually taken in July 2004 and apparently NO-ONE was their principals for those dates. This is very strange. This is how they are all getting away with not taking responsibility as HFC and Hamilton were not their principals until after your complaint date.

    Hi Marshallka.
    This is very interesting.

And yet Hamilton are on the PPI documentary paperwork??

Shall I check and post the company number?

Right not sure exactly what number I supposed to be looking for as such but in regards of Hamilton company number I have this on their documents here:
Registered in England No 1655888 are authorised by the Financial Services Authority, incorporated with limited liability and members of the Association of British Insurers and the FOS.
Endeavour personal finance and the Insurers are connected as they are both members of the same group of companies.

Thanks alot for the advise. I will write to the Staffordshire address because the paperwork I've got has this address.
Cot1198 just curious, did they ever replt to your letters?

Yes they where very good and very prompt and kept within the 8 week time scale. Good luck with your complaint I hope you get the answer you want and if it is true that they have been in talks with FOS on how to deal with claims, you could be in luck. Fingers crossed for us both

The names down the side are just names similar and not actually related to Click but it is good for looking up when things "happen" in companies and dates etc. I will add the site to faves anyway as it may help in some cases on here. ;)
