No, as there is nothing owed on it.
They did do though with the other complaint he had on the recent credit card, different accounts. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

We did think of this, and checking on the overdraft as well, that is not healthy at all, but going by statements nothing have yet changed, but you do have a point here though.;)
I think though if there is a few accounts etc with them, they could do this just like they do with EGG.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks Marshallka.
I do have a few issues with them at this time, and have a new account elsewhere, I will go into that one again as I can go on forever.....:o, this was advised by the CCCS, will tell you about it again, but what you said have made me think, cheers.;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
lol......:D;).
My trading standards were very good as well, in regards of my kitchen and luckily I did not go as far as the FOS, they paid up with what they did not supply us with, so many parts were missing, I made sure they compensated on a distress payment as well, we were lucky, but read that not everyone who complained were...0 -
Hi Di - You all gave me a bit of courage - I phoned kitchen company next day & they have agreed to refund me the missing parts money. Picking it up tommorrow. I am also meeting my friend to start progressing her missold PPI M & S card money. I filled this out online for her & opted out of PPI. When I was telling her about my claim she checked her statement & they have been charging her for it - how unethical is that!
Fantastic, so pleased for you.......:T:T:TWell done and also good luck to your mate as well, I'm sure your mate will do well with your help.;)XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I promise I have browsed through this thread, but can't see any answer to my question.
I recently received a letter tosay that the PPI I took out on a loan was coming to an end. However, I paid the load off in full about 3 years ago. So I have paid for X amount of years cover for something that I was never going to use/claim on.
Is this something I can try and claim back? I can't see anything mentioned in Martins article.
Thanks in advance xComping Newbie! 2011 Wins so far: £10 Sports Direct Voucher, 2 Footballs, Gillette Razor, Ravin Rabbids Wii Game, England cricket bag, Gossip Girl 1-3 Box Set, £5 Fru voucher, Tron PS3 Game & Circus of Horrors Tickets.

I promise I have browsed through this thread, but can't see any answer to my question.Hi there, we will do our best to help you.
I recently received a letter tosay that the PPI I took out on a loan was coming to an end. However, I paid the load off in full about 3 years ago. So I have paid for X amount of years cover for something that I was never going to use/claim on.So you had PPI added to the loan and it was basically worthless to you then?
Is this something I can try and claim back? I can't see anything mentioned in Martins article. You may have good reason to reclaim on the PPI, plus the interest, check here though on the link which includes a checklist of mis selling reasons, templates and useful information:

Thanks in advance x
Definately give it a go, it may have been forced on you and there may be other reasons as well, so do check the above link to make sure and write to them by giving them 8 weeks in full to respond.
Keep on at them until they resolve in your favour, or until they issue you with the final response, because sometimes they give you the opportunity to write back with further information.
However, in the final response they should give you details if eligible of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), you can take your complaint to these if your not happy with the outcome.
Best to post by recorded delivery as well for your proof of posting.
Also just to confirm you write to the ones who arranged and sold you the finance, so if there was a broker involved you write to them.
Hope this helps and good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Excellent, it's worth a go. I must have been tired last night as I didn't click on any of the sections that expand on the link you gave me
I have found the section I need in the template, so I will give them a call for the details of dates etc and send off the letter on Monday.
Thank you for being so nice and pointing me in the right direction.
