    Just wandering is GUMBI about. She always seem to have some useful and positive info for us.

    GUMBI ANY UPDATES - WE ARE ALL GETTING SO FRUSTRATED/ DESPERATE/ LOSING PATIENCE....................................:confused::confused::confused:
    :mad::mad::mad:
    lol
    xx

    We definintely need someone with inside information.

    I was just thinking (now my head hurts!) why do they have to go to the lender for information? What would they need that Deloitte (who were in charge of the Liquidation of Picture Financial) didnt already have in their possession except statements and figures:confused:

    Must stop thinking about this now, could go on forever with theories and questions!

    hi busbyh, you should have had a rebate when you cancelled were you mis sold the ppi?my friend last week won her case for mis sell as it was a front loaded insurance and she had previously cancelled her ppi, the fos told her cancelling and mis sell were two different claims. she was not aware that the front loaded ppi was over the whole term of the loan and she was only covered for the first five years. give it a go you have nothing to lose and everything to gain
    we are going for mis-sell but we didn't receive any rebate when we cancelled or when we paid off picture.

    we cancelled the PPI just before we started the claim with FSCS. when I realised how much it was costing:mad:

    i read on MSE that it would be more difficult proving a policy was mis-sold if a successful claim had been made on it. That's what I was trying to say to Lian. to be careful.

    Cheers
    xx

    We haven't made any claims, but I was concerned at one point that I may have blown it by cancelling, but by what you are saying, it should be ok.
