I know and yet busbyh got told yesterday they were still hopeful of making payouts this month!

I will have to calmly think of a month or two being 4 to 8 weeks and hope something happens then.

    Hi all

Just an update, still waiting to hear back from Lloyds TSB. I initially raised the complaint around 14 June and the update letter around 19 July, so should I be expecting a response soon??

    Hi all

Just to let you know I contact Lloyds TSB today as I've still not heard and they advised me that a final response was sent to me dated 07 August. I've asked them to send it out again as I never received it. I'm having problems with my mail ... last thing I need!

I can't see the outcome being favourable, so any suggestions as to what I should do if I'm refused? Can I apply to the FOS, is it a form I fill in, do I need any paperwork as I have none.

I've got no paperwork, just know that I was transferred to a mastercard from a visa card and never completed any application form to indicate payment protection and this visa card was a card which originally was a TSB card but became a Lloyds TSB when they merged many years ago. Again I was never given a choice to have Payment protection on my card and it was just applied.

    All info greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Not sure, as we are like you going through the FSCS! Beacuse of this, they may say we are not eligable to claim?
I will call them to see what they say.

    Thank you

hi there do as dialysys says check to see what you are covered for, if for redundancy check to see how long you have to wait before you can put a claim in and for how long they will pay your monthly payment for, as you dont know what money you will get back from mis sell you will not be able to make a choice of what is better for you, either to claim on the mis sell or claim cover under the ppi, as you know if you make a claim on the ppi you had a policy fit for purpose and that will invalidate your mis sell claim, so if i were you i would think long and hard about this as it will cost you dearly if you make the wrong decision now. its a pity you dont know how much you will be getting from mis sell, for my money i think picture would love you to claim on the ppi as then the insurance company pay you and it doesnt cost picture a penny, they shouldnt be allowed to get off so lightly

Hi we cancelled our PPI 28 months into the policy and monthly repayment was only reduced from £350 to £348 - saving £2 a month. 2 months later we paid off Picture when we transferred the debt to the mortgage, and there was no PPI rebate as the policy had been cancelled.

Not sure what to advise on this.
If your husband is unfortunate to be made redundant and you do make a successful claim, yu will not be able to say it was mis-sold
