Pinknico the FSCS did send me a form to fill in that we sent back in august 2008

Wow they must have sent out over 200 forms in one month! So older cases being dealt with first must mean the first 200-300 complaints.
Hope they have a large work force and big computers!
Well if they have over 600 complaints to deal with by Jan 2010 they better get a move on with the first batch!!

Sorry beaniebabe, it doesnt mean anything as the reference numbers are not really being used, they say it is date order of receipt.

I just couldnt work out why I had such a low number in August 2008 and you two had quite high numbers in July and August 2008, but as your forms were submitted straight away rather than having a form sent out to you for you to send back then you just would have been given the next number that hadnt been sent out yet but the date would be earlier than someone who had yet to return the form of a lower number. Does that make sense?:o
Yes it does make sense. So does that mean that Dialysis and my claim could be dealt with before others who have a lower number.X

I think I meant to say Office of Fair Trading....not the ICO.......
    :o silly me lol......:D
The Office of fair trading (OFT) can get involved in these matters but for more information as there is lots of info, check here:
    http://www.oft.gov.uk/
    and
    http://www.oft.gov.uk/search?action=search&pg=1

Yet the ICO can get involved with anything in regards of your data, freedom of information etc.

So its the OFT you need to contact at this point hun and not the ICO lol, sorry hun.:o;)XXXXXXXX

Lol!!! Thanks for that Di X;)

They would only accept three quarters of the monthly premium not a small amount. At one point picture told us not to pay anything until our claim was sorted:confused:then they went for repo I think though that they went for repo after target took over It is very strange isnt it?
Thanks for the advice Dialysis. I know it has been a difficult time for you but at least you are in a good position to help others :A
It sounds to me like they have got to accept as much / little as they can get now they have gone into default.
Picture have never expected me to pay three quarters of my repayment, however I will still be on my guard! XX;);)

Well its been 6 weeks since they were declared in default so they've got another 6 weeks to get through 300 claims which would be half way, or 2 weeks to get through 200 claims.

    Cant see it happening myself.

In my opinion yes, as busbyh said the form said you have six months to fill this in ,it would have varied when people returned their forms.
Some may have taken 24 hours ,others weeks!

No I cant either not when the fscs told me today that it could be a month or two. I think that was just a fob off tactic as originally he said it will be months yet:mad:
