Anyone tried reclaiming PPI from M&S?
Had a reply today saying they dismiss my complaint because PPI has always been itemised and i could've disputed it at any time.
Well, they have a point but why would i have disputed something i didn't know was optional??
Step 2 here i go.....0 -

Hi Dazman
I would contact the FOS again, and let them know that you have noticed that they credited this amount to your account, but they have not provided you with any form of breakdown for your records, ask the FOS to to contact them on your behalf to request for this breakdown.
They should be able to do this for you, and also check this as well to make sure nothing is amiss.;)
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hello there,
Good for you for taking the next step, it looks like they are trying to fob you off in hope you will not take this any further, good luck.
Yes there have been many complaints in regards of M&S, when you have time browse through the threads, you will be surprised.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Your welcome hun.;)
Yes I see your point and so will the FOS when you explain to them as well, because really the FOS should actually have a copy of how they worked this out, and would want to make sure that the compo is also refunded to you as the FOS requested. XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

there was a gentleman assigned to my case i preume its him i need to call , so i should just call him tomorrow then ????0 -
to Amersall,
Yes, they are offering me back only the PPI payments I made and have not even mentioned the loan and knocking the proportion of PPI off that.
They said "Send in your bank statements for 2000 and 2001 and we will try and calculate the PPI paid" (or words to that effect).
I'd like the PPI knocked off the loan too!
