Does anyone know if a company was regulated by the Personal Investment Authority, who was taken over by the FSA can complaints be taken to FOS?0

I think its good to have a good rant now and again.:D
Do you feel better for it now Showergirl?;)XX
It just got to me yesterday. I am just sick of people being promised that someone will get back to them and then don't, and I really feel for Dialysis losing her home.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words0 -

I spoke to FOS yesterday about Tesco/RBS & it seems that they are near to reaching an agreement about how cases are settled on a goodwill basis.
We may be getting some more money in the near future.
The way it has been explained to me is that if a voluntary agreement is not reached then the Ombudsman will make a ruling & force Tesco/RBS to comply.0 -

Hi everyone
Apologies if I have added this to the wrong forum so feel free to move to correct location if needed.
I took out a loan with A&L 2003 and repaid in full 2004. I no longer hold any of the paperwork and am unsure if I had PPI, what I would like to know, is can I request loan agreement information without an account number?
Any advice gratefully received.

I forgot to mention that they have sent me the loan agreement and I sent off the 1st stage letter. They have 40 days to reply. I recieved a letter stating a member of a team is now investigating.
Is this counted as a reply? Do I just sit and wait, or do I still keep counting the days awaiting a final outcome?
Hope this makes sense
Hi hun
Thanks for letting us know, glad you received the agreement.;)
In regards of reclaiming they have 8 full weeks to reply.
If they have confirmed they are investigating then that is cool, so hopefully they should now respond by the 8 weeks at the latest.
Go from the day they received your reclaim letter, if you posted this by recorded delivery, you can check the tracking of this on the royal mail website.;)
Hope this helps, any prbs let us know. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Showegirl.
Glad your feeling better today.:A
Yes it can really get you down at times can it?
I think this happens to us all in turn, but you do feel better for getting it off your chest.;)
I know it is so wrong what dialysis is going through, all of this could have been avoided if they sorted out and paid out even quicker in these circumstances.
We do lose faith in these authorities don't we?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
