Hi Sable76.
If you cannot find the account numbers such as on old bank statements, if you bank online you should be able to go back as far as 6 years on your statements, so when you made the loan repayments, the account number for these loans should be next to the repayments made.
If not then you just write as much personal details as you can, such as if your address was different at the time you taken the loan out and the surname, also write your DOB, all this information will make it easier for them to track down, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

So was it countrywide Assured that actually sold you the policy?
I went to a broker for the mortgage and we went with Nationwide for the mortgage.
He then gave me all the usual sales pitch about 'protecton' as I was first time buyer I was naive and ended up forking out 65 pound more a month for cover which in hindsight I never needed!0 -

Hmmm he was working for Taylors estate agents, he brokered the mortgage through Nationwide but sold me all the Countrywide assured stuff.
does this make sense? I addressed the letter to countrywide but now i am not so sure0 -

Whoever is responsible has 8 weeks to give you a full and final response to the complaint.0 -
Cheers Marshallka.
In fairness to them at least they sent back the account numbers within days. I am still waiting from Natwest for my loan reference numbers 5 weeks after originally requestiing them through my branch!!!0
