Hi there "doingmybest", how frustrating this if for you...... so sorry to hear this.

If this is being moved on to the ombudsman himself, if your in financial hardship, let them know as soon as possible, and ask if they are able to consider "fast tracking" for you.
Good luck with this and hope you hear sooner rather than later.;)

I told the adjudicator (I think he was one of the managers acyually), that they had contributed to my financial difficulties. He gave the impression that it would be fast tracked anyway.
Just wondered if anyone had experienced this sort of situation?

yes, but the FOS have now imposed time limits on them - if they don't reply the FOS will make a ruling against them - they're also saying they should pay an additional £100 for the inconvenience !!!

They don't seem too bothered by the FOS, so what sort of ruling would they make that would effect them?

    Hi there

I see, well lets hope its dealt with very soon then.;)

With my Nemo case that was as informed by the FOS rather complexed, it had taken about 14-15 months from start to finish, as that also went as far as the ombudsman, but not on fast tracking.

I'm sure I was reading another post similar to yours the other day, if you get the chance browse through the threads.;)

Well the FOS have emailed me back after I told them who the company was and they found my old complaint and the adjudicator (yes it got that far before I was told they couldnt help me!) and have attached the emails to my complaint and said the adjudicator will get back to me. Have no idea if they will look into it but as yet they have not told me to get lost!

Hello all had a reply back from the FOS in regards to them looking at ALL PPI complaints, I had asked if this was the case could they re look at a case they had turned away last year.
Their reply was to let them know the name of the company and would await my reply before they take further action! Will keep you posted.

Thought I could patiently wait til the end of June to see if Picture were in Default by then but today am really really fed up with waiting!!!!!!

Me too pinknico! I could really do with them settling at the moment as it would make a massive difference to my financial circumstances. Hang in there and keep us informed if you hear any news! Lets hope it won't be too long now:o

if egg don't respond within the time frame set by the ombudsman, he / she will rule in your favour and make them pay out -a final ruling by an ombudsman, if agreed by you the claimaint is legally binding upon egg
