I emailed the adjudicator again today to see what is happening with my claim and I got the reply below:

I have just been and spoken to our Final Decision team, they have advised that there are some technical issues regarding the general sales process which we are trying to resolved with Loans.co.uk at the moment.
Unfortunately, I cannot give you a definitive date for this to be resolved by as this all depends on Loans.co.uk at this present time. I can assure you that we are doing everything we possibly can to resolve this as quickly as possible for consumers.
If you would like I can diarise to email you every two weeks to give you an update on any progress we have made with Loans.co.uk?
Please accept my apologies for the continuing delay and I would like to thank you for your continued patience.
    Kind regards

What does this mean? what are technical Difficulties? Why does this affect my claim, surely whether or not there is a technical difficulty with loans.co.uk doesn't make any difference to how they sold me my PPI? if any-one can please? to me it seems like another excuse to stall things.

    Please Help!!!
I have 2 PPI claims all being dealt with by FOS could do with a win. I also have 1 PPI claim with FSCS because company gone bankrupt.
I have claim for bank charges on-hold for 3year

    Good-luck all

    Hi Jadest

The only thing I can think of is that loans.co.uk are having difficulties with their computer systems which holds all the customers information, however I may be wrong here.

If that were me, I would request for further payment (Compo) for distress, as this is not your fault and causing undue distress, same goes for Ell-bee.

    How annoying......

    HI ALL

Please be aware if you are querying PPI or charges on an account; whilst that account is in query (whether internal procedure or the FOS) it is against the banking code (section 13 i think) for them to take any adverse action against you or file adverse information about you whilst the account is in query.....

Have you already had a CCJ actioned on you whilst you were waiting for an outcome on a PPI or charges query? You can apply to 'set aside the judgement' on the grounds the judgement was wrong, the amount will of course be wrong if it includes unlawful charges and miss sold PPI. Use the website http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/ to guide you and download the formas you need. I am on with it now against Black horse i will keep you all updated........

Thanks for this information. It is worth knowing. I had a feeling that there would be little these companies could do if the account is in dispute.;)

    Advice needed re PPI
My husband has just had an operation and will be off work for nearly 3 months!! Picture finance have been in touch with me informing us that we could claim on the PPI. I informed picture that the PPI was mis sold and I believe they would not pay out as his operation was due to a pre existing medical condition (I explained no one informed us of this info when the policy was sold). Am I right in thinking if we tried to make a claim on the PPI this is accepting that we are happy with the PPI and this would effect the whole mis sold claim with the FSCS.

Hi, not been around on the boards much for a while. Hope everyone is getting on ok with their reclaims. :T

It's been nearly 8 weeks since I sent letter 1 to TPF, but apart from an initial acknowledgement letter, I've heard nothing. Not sure what to do next. The initial letter said if they hadn't been able to reach an agreement by the 8 weeks then I can refer them to the FOS.

If I haven't heard by the 8-week deadline, what do you think I should do? Give them a few more days, write to them to prompt them, or just go straight to the FOS and get on with it? I'd be really grateful for any advice. I was expecting a big fat "no" or maybe a stalling letter - but not the silent treatment!! :rotfl:

I also wrote to my bank about 8 weeks ago, asking for copies of an old loan agreement, including a postal order for £1, but have heard nothing from them. Should I give them a bit longer, or write again?

Thanks as ever for any advice. :A
Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

    Best Comp win:X-Box 360!!

And thank you to all posters! You're wonderful!
