Well guys I pursued it asking NAT WEST politely but firmly for 10 years worth of statements. Well I heard nothing then a few days after the Chairman of RBS gave up his bonus I got a letter making me an offer.
As I have no statements etc I guess I better accept.
Thanks for all your help guys.

Ask your boyfriend to ring them up and do the complaint over the phone,i dont see why you would need authority to do a claim for him,you could fill the claim form in and your boyfriend just sign?.
What was the request for?.
Yes it is twelve weeks, when he rings, get him to tell them about the letter he did not receive.
Yes we put each loan number on each complaint form and the account number, he also signed them all giving me permission to act on his behalf, I also signed them all?? They have sent 2 letters before this 1 saying they are dealing with the complaints, nothing mentioned about verification in those?, I thought maybe they wud want him to go in bank and take ID in and sign something?? The final response letter hasn't arrived to him yet?. It doesn't even say who's signature they need??. So frustrating. Why can't they explain things?? I havnt requested anything. There 12 weeks are up on 6th march. I'm wondering if this is just a delay tactic?. Thankyou for your help.0 -

Glad to help.
This could be a delay tactic, the banks are very good with these.
You need to get hold of this letter they claim to have sent, you cannot act on anything until you see what this letter says!!.
It could be that the claim has been upheld and this is what the letter is that was "sent",as it is your boyfriends claim,it may be that they will not deal with you, only the boyfriend and have sent it to him and not you?,i really dont know what they are playing at to be honest, you need this letter asap, then if needs be,this can be taken further.0 -
Hi All,
I have a PPI complaint lodged with Tesco Bank at the moment which was rejected and has been sent to the FOS. But i notice on my original loan document it says Tesco/RBS - i am just wondering should i have complained to RBS instead or as well?
edit: RBS have just emailed me back to say any complaints after Aug 2010 go direct to Tesco even if the loan was taken out in 20080 -

Thanks amersall. We will wait for the final response letter, and see what that says. Hopefully, fingers crossed, it will be good news.0 -
Can I phone santander direct about claiming back my PPI or do i need to send off the questionaire to them?
thanks0 -
things are looking good for my ppi claims at the moment, have had 1 upheld and have been told on phone that another has been upheld and a letter is on its way. What i would like to know is...i am on a dmp but the letter of the 1st upheld one says a cheque is on its way, now i thought they would deduct it from what i owe, which i dont mind at all, what happens if they do send me a cheque, am i fully entitled to cash it and they cannot come back to me and say...hang on a minute we should have deducted that from your debt, give it us back!!!
Also, if i get cheques for all my ppi, would i be able to try and make a full and final offer to my creditors using these funds?0 -

Nice one del thats fantastic news and yes you can use the money to make a full and final settlement offer as you get your cheques and it's a great idea as it'll get you debt free, remember though to preferably do it through a third party (settle) as a third party settling the debt for you is more legally binding so do your homework first. good luck:T:T:T:T:):):):):):beer::beer::beer::beer::j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:money::money::money::money::money::D:D:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool::cool:0 -
