A full refund of all payments made plus 8% interest

The longer they drag their heels as LTSB are prone to do, the more interest they will owe you ....:rotfl::T:rotfl::T

They are an appalling bank so you need to keep slapping their wrists for a result.

Hello - just seen this reply to another post can you explain this a little further - when you say 'the more interest they will owe you' . How will this extra be calculated? 8% for every extra day? something different?

    here is my info

my TSB claim was accepted on December 16th 2011 and the 8% interest was calculated up to January 12th 2012, yet i am still to receive my refund. Should i be due even more than the stated settlement figure when they eventually decide to pay out?

    cheers

  • Hi
On the advise of this web site I sent in an application for missold PPI to halifax within 12 weeks they had refunded all payment Plus 8% compensation. I received £9000 and did not have to pay anything to any 3rd party. It was just simply for completing a form, I had no paperwork but the PPI was still running. It is now cancelled.

    Hi All

Has anyone here claimed PPI with GE Money? Just asking because I sent off my FOS questionaire on 23/01/12 and received a written response on 26/01/12 quoting the same agreement number as I had and advising they have until 12/03/12 to respond.

I have arrived home today and I have another two letters both addressed to me and referring to my telephone call of 26/01/12 but I didnt make one!. These quote two completely different agreement numbers I don't recognise, and advise me they have until 26/03/12 to respond.

I am not sure whether :-
    A) They have sent me letters that were meant for someone else,
    B) They have just split out the loan and PPI into two complaints, and the agreement numbers are their internal references?
    C) I have maybe had something else with GE Money in the past (a store card etc) that they are looking into.

    Any advice welcomed.

This is off topic to this forum but does anyone here watch TV online with their computer ?

I often do as I am working on my computer.

We are told that we need a TV licence to watch online, I have a house licence but what is disturbing me is the fact that they say "to watch tv online you need a licence ... YET many programs you are not allowed to watch and BBC/ITV say it is for legal reasons ?????

If you can't watch it, why do the government expect you to pay for something that is not available ???

This is a fraud that Cameron needs to sort out quickly
  • Debenhams (Santander) Just had a letter from Santander saying they are not in a position to resolve my complaint at this time, due to ongoing investigations. They will contact me in 4 weeks time.

Has anyone else had this? what was the outcome?

    Thanks for your responses.

Well I went into my local RBS hoping to get my old cc number, I had my old current account number, but had no luck. Very nice lady tried to find it on 2 different systems and couldn't. Asked her manager who was quite nasty so I decided to leave and I will SAR them.

  • Help and advice needed again please

My other half had an upheld letter from a 1994 loan from TSB on 5th Dec, the figures though were £765, PPI paid when he actually paid £995 and this was a refinanced loan, so i wrote back on 11th Dec by recorded post and sent copies of all paperwork, asking them to re-look at the claim.
Heard nothing and then today received a cheque for the initial amount offered.
Do I pursue this or leave it as it and cash the cheque as it was from 1994?
    Any advice gratefully received.

Hi,if this loan was refinanced, there will have been a rebate of ppi given on this, with the redress they will have taken this amount back.

Are they looking at the refinanced loan too?,as there may be the remaining ppi from the redress one above, put onto this loan, less the rebate amount.

This just means they are still looking at your complaint and have asked for more time.
